I used to work with this guy that I would “catch” him with his phone right up against any sort of equipment that made sound. I said to him, I really don’t care if you use your phone at work, but I’m genuinely curious to what you’re doing…. Oh I’m just recording the sounds. (of whatever it is he’s holding his phone to) I make music so I’m sensitive to a lot of noises that most people would otherwise not hear. So now I’m cursed with this new habit my brain developed and if I hear some noise my brain stars beatboxing in thought. 😂
