All I can imagine is the entirely different reaction Noah would have to Cody going near the water-: As soon as he notices, tears are already streaming down his face and he's scrambling to the edge of the docs. Noah's pushing him away and back onto the docs and Cody can hear melodic whispers from the waves of the water telling him that he doesn't deserve to drown. Not like him. Cody is hysteric and murmuring things of disbelief and constantly saying 'you're so cold...' After everyone knows about it, Cody constantly visits Noah. Trying to get into the water and be with Noah again as Noah is doing literally everything to keep Cody out. The murder also can't reach Cody ever, when he's at the lake, Noah will stare down the killer untill he leaves. People have to keep Cody and Duncan separated, lest Cody get the slightest bit pissed and nearly snap Duncan's head off. His rage is hardly quelled until he hears about Courtney, then they're on acquaintance terms. I'd say on the last day, Cody still can't let go. He spends the night at the lake with Noah. And Noah tells him that he can take all his clothes, sleep in his room, anything that might help him move on. Cody basically cries himself to sleep. Noah made sure the killer would not lay a finger on him, let alone breath a single breath anywhere on a 30 mile radius of him. During the healing process Cody is an absolute wreck. He's not trusted to be alone especially near any form of water. He had tried to drown himself in the sink after hearing Noah speak to him. His clothes are mainly just Noah's now. He stays in Noah's house. He won't leave, he can't. He constantly hears Noah chiding him to move on and it only makes him more desperate to stay. Gwen winds up staying with Cody to keep an eye on him. They trauma share and Gwen shares that she's been playing Trent's guitar because it's the only time she can hear him speak. Meanwhile, Noah and Trent are now watching over the two of them. Concerned and trying to help them move on but knowing all too well they might just stay put. Let me know if you want more-

So I need you to move on. I'm sure you'll find more friends. I know you, Cody, if you give them that goofy charm of yours, you'll have plenty of friends in no time.' There was a silence as Cody stared at Noah. From Noah's perspective, it looked as if Cody was about to scream and yell at even the notion of leaving anyone behind, let alone Noah. Scream until his vocal chords stopped working or tore from the sudden overuse. Cody looked at Noah... then looked away. For Cody, seeing that the warm brown he knew so well now gone felt like the dagger to his heart when he saw Noah's body had just been turned sharply to cause more pain. Too bad Cody had practically cried all his tears for the night. If he hadn't he definitely would be sobbing away the remaing ones now. 'Yeah, Sure... Maybe I'd get friends... But none of them are you. I won't have you Noah.' Noah gently squeezed Cody's hand, drawing his attention back to him. 'Cody... It's not healthy for you to do this. You quite literally risk getting killed by the killer to see me each night... You need to move one before your actions kill you.' 'If you would let me into the water I could look for you. I can give you a proper burial, just anything!' Cody's voice was trembling. He spoke of this often, Noah knew that... Of course he knew. He was the one listening. Cody moved to get into the water and Noah's hands moved from his hands to his waist, keeping him settled on the dock. 'Not happening, Cody.' Noah's voice echoed over the water. Cody huffed angrily as soon as he realized he couldn't move further into the water. Noah's voice was now attuned to acting like a siren's, and now effectively worked to keep Cody from going into the water. 'It's cold and dark in the water, Cody. My body has sunk to the bottom. I am most definitely not allowing you to look for it, nor risk you dying from the cold.' Cody looked away from Noah. Noah wouldn't let him even try to get his body out of the water. 'You need to rest, Cody. You told me you leave tomorrow with everyone?' Cody nodded. Cody laid down on the docs. So close to the water he was one move away from falling in. Noah began humming and he held onto Cody, making sure he wouldn't try to fall in. 'you can take anything you need to move on, Cody. You can take all my clothes, sleep in my room, anything.' Cody nodded... Then he fell asleep. Noah held Cody close and out of the water. He stared down the Killer anytime he came near Cody. 'I know I may have been easy to take down... But i assure you... If you lay one finger on him or even breathe the same air in a 30 mile radius of him... I won't be gentle either.' Noah heard an audible gulp which made him grin. He watched and heard the killer leave, not arriving anymore times after that.
