I think the Institutions require the internship so that you tried out nursing before applying because they want to know whether you really like nursing. So maybe it's also fine for them when you do an internship in your home country. You could ask the hospitals/places where you want to apply via e-mail.

For Vocational schools in Germany where you get paid on the job training and Schooling, block account is not needed or required from you.

Of course it is possible. This is a university course and only a few universities offer it. You need C1 skills of German to apply and proof of a bank account that has over 10,000 € in it (per year) as this is the approximate annual cost of living for a student here. They want to make sure that you can sustain yourself. If you don't have this bank account you can alternatively present a sponsor who is willing to pay all costs for you.

Really good question, I hope I may answer this. (I am a former Au Pair host mum two of whose Au Pairs have gone into nursing). Usually German applicants need a qualification that is called "Mittlere Reife". This equals a secondary school diploma of a secondary school type called "Realschule", which is the medium level of the three types of secondary school that exist here in Germany. In the British system this diploma would equal GCSEs and in the Ugandan system and maybe also Kenyan system (?) it would be the exam you take after S4. HOWEVER, if you aren't German you need to have your foreign school leaving certificate or diploma officially recognized here and I know for sure that a foreign GCSE or S4 diploma from outside the EU is not recognised here as equal. This means if you are from an African country you should at least have passed your A-level or S6 exams successfully, because they only count as GCSEs or "Mittlere Reife" here. Our Au Pair from Madagascar came here with an A-level certificate and it was seen as equal to GCSEs here but not equal to German A-levels. If you only have an S4 exam/African GCSEs so far, continue up to S6 first!

In Germany , nursing is under Ausbildung… that’s workmanship. Anyone can do it, you just need to learn German… (well this is for people already in Germany tho), I don’t know what it is like for people coming from overseas.
