It's fun, mostly balanced, has a cool roster, no dumbass comeback mechanics. If TvC wasn't held back by being a Wii exclusive this game could've had so much tournament support. I'd rather have a sequel to this than MvC.

Doesn't baroque count as a comeback mechanic since it does more damage when you sacrifice more red health for it.

@@Gamersgoinblind Baroque functions more like a Roman Cancel than a comeback mechanic. Giving up your red health is a big sacrifice that ruins you if you can't take advantage of it. It's not like X-factor where you can play like ass but still wipe the other guy's team in 5 seconds with level 3 X-factor Vergil.

The real shafted part was the ending, not the intro, in my opinion. Calling it now, Doronjo, Jun, Roll, Saki, Frank and the giants won't be touched. Probably one of my favorite games to go back and play. The music helps alot. I love both intros but it makes sense that for the new characters only had still images rather than a full animated part. I hope there is a TvC2 sometime in the future. Edit: well most of the characters I thought wouldn't be picked have been picked at least once so I was wrong.

I agree with Woolie about how Karas's moveset wasn't what he expected/wanted. As a kid, I picked him because he looked neat but I couldn't wrap my head around some of his specials (like his chain and sword spin). It's been years since I've touched this game so I might get used to it now.

​@@GELTONZ Unfortunately, Tatsunoko doesn't have a US branch like Capcom does. Therefore, the Tatdunoko IPs are owned by different companies in outside of Japan due to lincense stuff. At least I think that's what it is. But time will tell if we get another sequel or not.

One of if not my favorite crossover game, I was obsessed with MvC back when I was a kid, when I saw this on a Nintendo Power it blew my mind that Marvel 1's gameplay style is coming back. I didn't even know any of the Tatsunoko characters besides Karas but I fucking loved them when I looked them up, Japanese TV Marvel pretty much. I greatly prefer this over Marvel 3 or Infinite a decade later. Too bad its stuck on the Wii but this is such a gem for your collection if anyone still owns a Wii/WiiU in rarity and how fun the gameplay is.

I'd say go Dolphin, it's got a bit of a community and when I tried it with a friend, it was so smooth. Just gotta make sure the versions are exactly the same for the isos and.. I think Dolphin itself

Yeah settings are everything with dolphin 1 minute I could barely get 30 fps on ssbb next minute I could easily get near 60 and my laptop is like from 2013

A lot of it has to do with what version you use. The TvC online tournaments use a much older version than what is current.

apparently this game has tech that only works on certain aspect ratios. like ryu hitting donkey kick on wider screen will shove the opponent full screen and wall bounce while on a smaller possibly CRT they'll hi the wall and wont bounce back to ryu

I'd love if they made a sequel or like a super port where they added more Capcom characters from other stuff. And more Tatsunoko Villains and such. And even like characters from the modern reboots as well like from Gatchaman Crowds and Yatterman Nights. It woul be interesting to see. Shame Tatsunoko hasnt made as much original stuff lately tho. And also funny how a lot of the shows from recent memory that evoke Tatsunoko aren't Tatsunoko productions. Also imagining Dante from V fighting with Cavaliere against Speed Racer using the Mach 5 as a weapon as well would be cool.
