As former teacher i love that all of us use a checklist system, routine, color identification, etc.. my mom used to do all these things when we were growing up. So appreciated as a kid to know my mom had everything set for me for a perfect first day of school.

This makes me thankful that our school supplies everything. My kids do like to pick out a pencil case and a few of their own things but it isn’t a necessity. Definitely keeps the cost of back to school down for us.

I wish we could do our back to school shopping in July! Our school didn't send out supply lists until 3 days before school started this year. And of course, the teachers want specific color folders, binders etc. It's so last minute, and so annoying. Everything is sold out by the time we get our lists.

My daughter instead of getting holes in her sock she rather loses them and then in turn I have to buy more lol. Is there any solution to this issue. I don't know what she does with her socks. And I try to get her to take her school clothes off and put in her laundry basket I have in her room. And then change into play like clothes.
