Some info to supplement your adventure!: The Yellow Trail is actually paved. From the spot you parked, follow the pavement past the gate, it'll lead under the train tracks and intersect with the road you normally drive to the marina. The remainder of the yellow trail is actually just the road. However, you can pick up the blue trail from that spot, which is the "main" trail of the park imo. Follow it all the way east and you'll run into the Hoyt House, an abandoned (actually stolen by the government) house that sits in the woods with large barns, etc. FYI the Hoyt House is also easily accessible with a shorter hike from Mills Mansion. The trail you took in this video is known as the Domincan Overlook Trail. It goes behind Anderson School and leads to an Overlook of Esopus Island. I'm guessing you were almost there, since the house you saw is at the edge of Anderson's property, and you mentioned being able to see the island. Afaik the trail ends around there, but looking at some maps, it may lead into the Yacht Club...

Hey the germ I really enjoyed camo Dave’s videos. They were awesome used to make videos every day because it was hiking videos or about the news or whatever I still enjoyed that I never met him but I kind of miss Dave myself because like I said every time I got up in the morning he always made a video and I really enjoyed that, cheers my friend
