Well thank goodness I could use my mouse to scroll through the take off and landing and boring pictures of out of the window, When the have captured you it's a bit disgusting to charge £3.20 for a cuppa tea in a cardboard mug, how much was the sugar? Always took my own food onto an airplane for European flights if I thought I needed food.

One time i flew home from Bulgaria, can't remember which airport it was, but i'm not kidding you Deano it was just like a massive warehouse with just one small corner with tables & chairs & a little cafe / bar. I was on my own so a young couple from the U.A.E got me a drink & invited me to sit with them as there were no spare tables - thank you whoever you were! 😂👍 Also at one of the airports i went through the gates early & ended up waiting in a flight for somewhere in Sweden i think it was, luckily i heard them calling my name! 🙃 There is a lot more at that airport, i'm guessing & hoping that the warehouse airport has updated by now 😅

That was a nice trick with detaching the room key to keep the card in the electricity slot. Personally, I always ask for 2 keys and just keep one in the room. There is nothing worse than fumbling around in the dark after a long day out. The thing about taxis is, they thrive on tourism anywhere in the world even UK, so it is not too surprising. Also 30 Lev sounds a lot but is only about £15 and where I live, I cannot get a taxi anywhere for less than £10; which seems to be my local minimum charge. If the taxi was asking for 50 Lev or more for that short distance then yes, they are just taking the piss and ripping people off. The smallest airport I have ever used was London City which compared to most is tiny, but even there you can get through security 3 hours before a flight and go get food and drink before departure without any fear of rushing. This Bulgarian airport sounds bloody awful; do they just want people to walk from the front door straight onto the plane?

To be fair- nothing really wrong with that airport It has everything you need. You arrived too early thats all. Can't on one hand complain that security took ages- then that you have too long to wait. Looking forward to your next travels :)

Very disconcerting hearing the Captain telling you that they were trying to arrange a better slot with ATC whilst you were hurtling down the runway, taking off!!! Obviously didn’t happen like that, better editing needed Deano, apart from that enjoyed your Bulgarian adventures !
