Rewatching this movie is so angering. You see all of the thing they're were throwing in your face but you still never saw the twist coming. Like the fact that Rose wanted him to stop smoking because she wants to keep his body healthy, Rose defends Chris against the cop because she doesnt want a paper trail of him going to that house, Georgina was standing in the window because she was admiring her new body, Rose's dad say they wanted to keep "a piece" of their parents with them, there are so many details that you never noticed and it just shows how brilliant Jordan Peele is.

I admire this movie for making the backstabber girlfriend of the main character actually smart and a good actor. Most of the time they portray these type of characters intentionally suspicious to the viewer while the characters in the movie don't notice the obvious. This makes the other characters look stupid and the overall film becomes unrealistic. But this movie nails it. @@rkofan300 Interesting assumption, considering it took me 5 minutes of research to determine that's not true. Police are allowed to ask for ID from anyone present, but unless they need to contact the passenger, or have reason to suspect the passenger of illegal behavior, they are not required to ask all people involved for their ID, nor is the passenger required to provide it (though it's generally not a good idea to refuse, as it can raise suspicion, and it's not wise getting into a legal debate with the guy holding the gun). Something as benign and commonplace as hitting a deer on the road would not, in itself, justify collecting ID from the passenger. Of course, being black in certain locations is considered reason enough, which was the point that the movie was making. Additional point, IcYou is actually indirectly making a meaningful observation, because the reason Rose intercedes and "stands up" for Chris is because she doesn't want his presence in the area (and subsequent disappearance) to be on the record. She's probably been making sure that none of the missing African Americans are ever tied to the location, which is how they've been getting away with this for so long.

@@illusion-xiii i said supposed to not are required to... but you are right supposed to was a poor word choice but the point I was trying to make is that if the police show up to an accident they are most likely going to ask everyone involved for their ID's, officers like to know who it is they're dealing with.
