But also: she bodyshamed the girls non-stop and Chloe have admitted that in the studio contracts they have to sign, there's a clause about gaining weight. Speaking of Chloe, Christy have admitted that in one of the episodes, they hadn't showed the real reason why she was crying, which was Abby, telling her, she'll destroy her. Also, in the episode, when the Lukasiaks left, they again have edited what Abby really said, which was something about Chloe's eye. There are much more examples for all the girls, just those are the ones on top of my head, because Chloe is my favorite, so I have searched the most about her, but if you're interested, I recommend MackZBoss' chanel. She have video, specifically dedicated to the things Abby had said off camera and currently, her new series (dance moms unedited) also have a lot of information on this topic

I never understood this drama from the beginning. Michelle and Sarah were literally being harassed by their old studio and instead of defending them, all the moms were berating Michelle for not telling them to stop when she did so repeatedly and decided to banish them and kick them out. Well... she did get a ton of fame and recognition-which is definitely gonna help her in the future with her dance career. Like if she were to go on Broadway, she could say she was on Dance Moms and danced for Abby Lee Miller. As stated in the show, alot of Broadway talent agents know Abby so she might stand out and get their attention. Also, she'll definitely get more opportunities than a local dancer that might be very talented, but doesn't get much recognition. Basically, I think she did get something out of the show and that was recognition which will further her in her dance career. I think that was another reason why some of the OG moms kept coming back as well. The fame really helped their daughters progress.
