As a very long time fan of 40. Like back to her grind time battles, I’ve watched, studied and analyzed her carefully over the years. Jaz was the start. First time I saw 40 realize she didn’t bring enough and allowed it to deflate her to the point of throwing the battle. When she battled Yoshi, first time I saw the lengths she’d go to to not have a debatable with someone she feels she’s above. Got her kicked off chrome, but she can still latch on to a debatable because Yoshi threw a bottle. When 40 isn’t sure if she can actually win a battle I believe the anxiety causes her to self sabotage. She can always hide behind “I never spit all 3 rounds and lose” so when she actually knows an opponent might outshine or actually out bar her, she chokes. Some of it is the nerves but I think alot of it is her attempt to save face when she knows her “pen” could get outshined. Love 40 but I’ve seen it play out too many times to label it any other way.
