Thank you for asking (around 16.58) what if Adam was the spiritual leader he was called to be, what if he fought for his wife and protected her.... it was very touching to hear such a valid question from a male spiritual leader, for a man to call husbands to not just a higher standard, but a God-honoring standard.. he asked what if Adam and Eve talked and prayed about it... to me, that shows a partnership in marriage, trying to honor God together and instead of trying to dominate each other. i did not know I struggled with Pride until today, I have so many sins that I still cover up in Shame and not knowing how to fix it, I ask God for forgiveness. I lift myself up over others and don't realize I am doing it. I do not want to displease God I want to turn in my Shame and receive Grace. Please Lord I humbly ask you to help me to change, I can not do it with out you Search me God and Know my Heart, Search me and Know my anxious thoughts. I prayed last night for god to lead me so that I may know the way and that no matter what it is I will happily and joyfully and with him take those steps.. I'm at a Y in my life and those roads probably never cross again.. they could both exist and I have a real desire to do both.. I'm married and it's a sort of a career and lifestyle choice..
