The PR procedure sounds similar to Poland. Doesn't immigration stamp the passport as proof of receiving an application for PR, thereby allowing an applicant to stay without prejudice until decision is made on the PR? Clarify this please

Please my question is that coming to Lithuania using the Schengen visa, the embassy said they might not give me more than 10 days as this is my first time of traveling abroad. So if I get that 10 days Schengen visa and I land Lithuania and what to take a job, does that mean I’ll have to find a job and apply for TRP within that 10 days that has been issued to me as a tourist or since in general Schengen visa validity is 90 days in all, can I stay for more than that initial 10 days issued to me and get job and apply for TRP? If you get a job with a 3 months tourist visa from the shortage occupations on the list let say within two weeks of landing in Lithuania , is it possible to apply for your TRP while still in Lithuania using the urgent case 15 days ? Means going with your police clearance , educational documents etc .. that would allow you to immediately apply when you get the job. This issue of applying for the jobs on those websites while outside Lithuania , many companies always write back saying if you are in Lithuania we could employ you because the relocation process takes long and we need candidates already in Lithuania . I have experienced these as well .

I think its possible to convert Schengen visa to TRP in Lithuania. You can if the Vfs in Nigeria is still working. However, I heard that's not the case. So you might need to travel to the nearest Lithuania Embassy around you.

Nope, you can't. Vfs has stopped accepting applications for Lithuanian visa. As per the new policy you have to apply for visa using any of the 34 countries listed in the migracj website. South Africa is the only African country in that list.
