Ok I have Thick Low Porosity Curly-Coily 3C-4A hair. I'm currently using Shea Moisture products. I wanna know how your hair is lasting days because I'm currently re-doing my hair every morning in the shower. At night I rinse the products out of my hair & I usually apply a leave in or curl milk when I get out the shower. I let it dry for a little bit & then I put on a silk bonnet like protector to preserve my hair over night. What's ur Nightly hair routine & any tips on preserving my hair better. Our morning routines are also relatively similar but instead of an oil I use a spray called hold & shine from Shea Moisture at the end.

Just like you, I’m all about that silk or satin bonnet life - it’s a game-changer for reducing friction. If you’re finding your hair’s on the drier side come morning, you might wanna try lightly spritzing with water and adding a touch of your leave-in before tucking it under the bonnet. Experiment a bit and see what combo leaves your hair feeling the freshest come morning. Stay on it, bro! And yeah, that Shea Moisture hold & shine spray? Solid choice, keep it up!

Was it warm water in that spray bottle and bro should I use warm or cold water to spray on my hair I also have low porosity hair.

9 times out of 10 times I have cool water in my spray bottle. It's not freezing cold or anything like that. You can style with luke warm water. However you will get more defined curls with cool water 👍🏽

Hi Carlton! what gel did you use at the end of the video to help lock in the moisture? I'm using a ECO gel right now and everytime I use it my hair immediately loses moisture and looks dry - not even minutes later.

i have the same problem. i recommend using ECO when doing finger coils because the dry feeling and look is not it for curls

Nah, I don’t add conditioner every single day; that could lead to buildup real quick. I usually go in with a leave-in conditioner on wash days to keep the moisture locked in for a longer period.
