Get Rank Prefixes In Minecraft Chat, Tablist & Nametag (Tutorial). Today I'm going to show you how to get Rank Prefixes to show inside of your Minecraft Server Chat & Tablist & the Nametag above your head. It's very easy to do and just requires you to install a few plugins. For this tutorial to work, make sure you have some permission groups setup and added prefixed ot them.

This is a NEW Minecraft 1.19.3 plugin tutorial. In todays video I'm going to show you how to get Rank Prefixes to show inside of your Minecraft Paper or Spigot Server Chat, Tablist & The Nametag about the player head. It works with BungeeCord and Waterfall as well! The plugins necessary are 100% free. It allows your LuckPerms Rank to show up everywhere on your Minecraft Server. So have your Rank inside of your Minecraft Tablist AND Chat AND the Nametab about your player head as well. It's very cool. This will make your server stand out and get you more players on Minecraft. It's all working for me apart from the chat formatting, which the prefix is not showing. I haven't tested the name above my head yet so unsure if that's working as intended either. I did everything you said to do and mines not working properly. Edit: Yes I have all 5 plugins.

That's strange. So you did already install Luckperms and created some groups? And also added prefixes to those groups in Luckperms? If that's the case, installing Vault, EssentialsX and EssentialsXChat should be enough to let the prefixes appear in chat. Do you maybe have another chat management plugin installled that conflicts with EssentialsXChat?

These groups no longer exist by default. Best thing is to create them in luckperms as a new group. It's not too hard but might take some time to get used to if you're unfamiliar with this kinda server stuff.

bruh stop using aternos, you can use Nether Hosting they have a free version with 2gb ram (aternos have 2.5), 10 gb of storage (aternos have 4) and a full customization with all the plugins that you can download (even betas and pirated ones 😉) and it can stay online like during 8 or 6 hours with no one playing

Did you also add the prefix to the essentialsx config? Because that's not nessacery. Just use displayname and then message like shown at 4:22

I'm probably late to this but make sure that the normal players (aka default) weight is set to one. From there continue to make groups that are higher than that number. Example: default = 1 (lowest in the hierarchy) VIP = 2 (higher than default) Mod = 3 (higher than VIP and default) Owner = 4 (top of the hierarchy) Idk if that helps or if I'm late but there you go!

That's a default feature of Minecraft. If you don't have them, you're probably using a very old version. I would recommand updating

It doesn’t. Idk why the developer called it trails but it’s not a trail version. It’s the full version, you just won’t get plugin support from the dev. So it’s free to use
