I love making junk journals. I like using cake mix boxes for a perfect size but I also use cracker boxes, soap boxes for cute small journals and a plus is they smell great. I save all my boxes. You made some cute ones. 😊😊

Thanks for the reminder on these, I remember you making them last year. For all my journals, I measure three times the height of your journal, no matter what size they are and it turns out perfect length to tie in the center, that way I don't waste any of string by having to cut off the excess. I love this idea though, thanks for sharing 😊

I haven't even gotten 2 minutes into this one and I like the idea but it made me think of getting a journal book that's kind of plain like a plain color and then covering it like with seasonal either fabric or like you said a Christmas card or something I think I'm going to try that out I'll let you know how it goes.

you could have made the short side the front and add some paper with a fancy cut on the edge or even a nice piece of ribbon would have looked nice

Nice little book. On Etsy there is Make-it-by Marco makes glue bottle holders. They are inexpensive the last time I looked.

Hi Jody, never made a journal. I hate to be a party pooper but I cannot see the details of what you are doing. If you need the space to create, switch your desk and table so we can see from the side. You know that I'm finishing up this video and as I thought of my idea I thought you know I've got tons of journal books since I think I was in high school which was early 80s and I don't remember ever seeing journal books that were like a Christmas cover. Maybe they figure there's too many pages to be just for Christmas but you know you could journal about each Christmas season multiple years in the same book so why haven't they made those? Interesting
