Welcome to a magical journey through the seasons! 🌲✨ In this video, I create the first piece of my needle-felted series: a mystical forest entrance with a glowing lantern. This enchanting scene kicks off a year-long project where each month features a unique design inspired by the magic of the forest. January's picture sets the tone, and by December, all 12 pieces will come together as a stunning garland or a single, captivating artwork.
Each picture will be 6 inches long by 5 inches wide so allow a half in boarder around the edge extra.

Do you use commercial felt to needle felt your picture on to? I will be giving this a go, and love the idea of putting it together for a quilted picture. I live in Australia, so the squares will be fun to make, different seasons to you but still looking forward to having a go.

Hi Yes I use 100% wool felt, if you buy some make sure its not pre-felt as its too stretchy. But you could use other surfaces if you want to. I can't recommend any as I have only ever used the wool felt and wouldn't want to lead you astray. As its not finished until December you should be able to just juggle them around a bit hopefully, Glad you like the idea. Thanks for commenting

I think it's lovely but I'd never manage those trees I'm not too good with 2d as a whole anyway.
