I agree, doing makeup in natural sun light is the best way to get the most natural and beautiful look, I have my vanity right up against the window. I do love watching some of the other YT MUA do their makeup but there is no way that actually looks good up close and in real life!!!

I really enjoy your get ready with me videos. As I have probably said before, we have very similar colouring, so after the video in which you first showed the Tom Ford eye quad I thought that would suit me really well. Naturally Sephora don’t carry it (Sephora Australia are a complete waste of space) but then I had a stroke of luck. I found it in David Jones, which is our equivalent of Harrods, and I happened to have an unspent gift voucher for them from my birthday last year, so I ended up getting it for half price. It’s the most beautiful collection of colours. I love the subtle shimmer and the slightly creamy texture and it does look great on me. Thanks for giving us the recommendation.

Can you please write the colours of the makeup down that you are using? Not just the link because if I go to the link I get redirected to my countries sephora so your links are not working outside of CAN/US...it would be very helpful. Or just say the colour in the video. I watched it twice and didn't get the eyeshadow palette, I can only guess it was "nude dip"... I noticed it in your last haul, you just say what you buy but never the colour anymore...e. g. you even showed the dior balm in the camera but it was neither readable nor did you mention it. It would be very nice of you! Sorry for the rant.
