Aww. Cute. I’ve been using puff paint on my crochet keychains I would make for my kids for years❤❤this takes me back❤ they would sell them at school 😊 they’re in highschool now. I don’t do key chains as I did before.🥰🥰🥰

Thank you for this video! I make a lot of crocheted toys that I sell at markets. The eyes are always the most difficult part for me, and they are the most important part because the face is the first thing people look at. I will be using this technique.

Could you print out a template and put a baking sheet over it and trace it out with puff paint and when it dries peel it off the sheet and glue on? I've seen similar techniques done with icing, do you think it would work with the puff paint too?
@ACraftyConcept
@ACraftyConcept Жыл бұрын
You can peel it off the laminated sheet if you use a cricut spatula. But idk how well they'll secure/stay to your work. Im going to test it out and share on ig!

I have a question! Can we laminate the practice sheet and use the eyes we make there on the amigurumi pieces? Like, use the spatula to scrape them off the sheet and use fabric glue to fasten them to the amigurumi? That way, if there’s a mistake, we can just try again?
@ACraftyConcept
@ACraftyConcept Жыл бұрын
I mentioned in the video trying to "glue" them on with more puff paint. Idk if it will work or not but I'm going to try it! Ill share any experiments on Instagram :)

Is this safe to use on Amigurumi for babies?
@ACraftyConcept
@ACraftyConcept Жыл бұрын
You can get nontoxic I believe. But nothing is "SAFE" for babies. You could include a disclaimer. Also, I'm not a lawyer, this is not legal advice :D

Are you sure it's safe for kids? Absolutely gorgeous, but I find things have to be rather nuclear-proof for my grandsons! 🫣

I wouldn't say anything handmade is SAFE for kids honestly. Kids are crafty and can make anything dangerous.
