checking in to say that after watching this i've tried your 80's blush technique with cream blush and it works! I've used cloud paints where i mixed dusk and haze and applied as you did. Then another time used a nars multiple with a matte rosy shade and it was super gorgeous. I think its easier with more malleable cream blushes that dont set as quickly. Cloud paint was harder to do but a pretty outcome. I'm sure something like a kosas would be gorgeous in this technique.

Fellow hooded lid gal, with also one lid more hooded.... YES! I do my eye makeup this way, and the lines do NOT match when my eyes are closed, but who cares about that, right? Haha. I've been using Beam from glossier on my eyes, but that new eye makeup from them looks soososososo good! I'll have to try it.

Just something to try for the under eye concealer- try the Nars colour creme brûlée. We are similar colouring and the creme brûlée shade is like concealer and corrector in one and takes any blue undertone out. Just something to try!

In my early teens, I learned to do my blush that way. Looks very pretty on you! Yep, Revlon "Wine With Everything" was the color to have back then. And you asked .... "do we r e a l l y throw our old makeup away?" No. Because if I look, I bet I still have a few sealed in package Revlon blushes. :D Your hair! It's perfect and I kinda resent you for it. LOL. ;) (joking, of course, but No Fair!!)
