I avoided muspah for the longest time, but just a few days ago I got a slayer task to kill muspah and took the full 50 kills. Took me like 3 kills to actually learn it and started enjoying, so the task was a breeze and I got a venator shard on kc 35 so it was totally worth it!

Would it be better to start at Vorkath or Muspah as my first real PVM boss? Which would be easier to learn?

With bad gear? Vorkath. Muspah is better gold but also way more difficult to understand if you are new player. You also already did Vorkath in the quest, it's not that different from there. Farm Vorkath until you can at least unlock rigour.

I see you've gotten some responses here and in the discord, and I agree with the general concusses of Vorkath. It's easier to learn for sure. You can kill Muspah with the same setup you're killing Vorkath with, so you can kinda do both tbf. If you're bored of Vorkath or just wanna change things up then give Muspah a try

@Blizz_rd Vorkath Melee is very good, and you can get started with the Osmumten's Fang. Lance is a little better than Fang at Vorkath, but not by a lot. So Fang is worth sending.

Is dragon enchanted bolts always better than normal enchanted ones on this boss? It's so much more expensive

As long as your fighting a monster with good loot drops, definitely upgrade to the Dragon Bolts. So in the case of Muspah/Vorkath or bossing in general, definitely go Dragon
