A tip for the second location, if you pick up the quest from Nireli but don’t talk to Zohreh you can enter the crypt without doing any steps of the quest and you won’t have an NPC tagging along getting in the way of your urn looting.

The best place, that isn't locked, especially with Azandar, is the hallway behind the thieves guild... so many marked stolen pots, in a zone with no one at all to catch you stealing. I pretty much maxed Azandars rep in the last two weeks doing nothing but stealing back there with him. Laundering the quality items that I didn't eat, and purging the rest. Entering and exiting the thieves guild re-sets the zone, too. The only downside is it's stolen loot, but if you're only farming the cream of the crop and burn the rest, it legitimately won't matter. You won't get enough high quality items to go through the launder limit.

New to game since beginning of the year. But have played original game of Morrowind & Skyrim on Xbox and Xbox 360 and always looted and still do. Love it. This may be a stupid question but what about other players at location it I loot an urn is it empty for them? I go in and loot everything. I have got 100s of gold for Ash alone selling it to NPC. Hey there! That's not a stupid question at all! Containers do not work the same way something like chests do in the overland, where they can only be looted by one player. If you loot a container (like an urn), that will not affect another player's ability to loot that same container for goodies.

Hey guys, I have a question: Does the Champion Point „Treasure Hunter“ from the green champion point tree benefit me for finding higher quality of those plans? I am not at all into playing those unlocking mini games, but if Treasure Hunter is also working for normal urns and desks and so on, it would be worth a shot for me. Hey there! The “treasure hunter” perk only affects chests, and since containers (like desks, urns, etc) are not considered to be chests, then this perk will not affect them. However, you’ll want the “homemaker” cp for the small chance to receive an additional plan while farming.

Great way to earn lots of gold, people go crazy for new staff. First few weeks prices are ridiculously high. Even green staff worth a lot first few days and sell quick so be fast and earn crazy money 😁 but not for me, I will be more focused on new toons and probably zone quest with main character

Did you progress too far in the quest that I referenced in this video? If you do, that interferes with the ability to reset the loot in the urns.

The Dreloth ancestral tomb (by Sadrith Mora) has a bunch of lootable urns inside! That's probably one of the better locations to farm for the old Morrowind furnishing plans (such as the old Telvanni ones) that have been around for a few years. You could also purchase the Morrowind Master Furnisher's Document for 50 writ vouchers at the master writ merchant for a random purple-quality Morrowind-themed furnishing if you've got tons of writ vouchers to spare.

That method should reset it. Leaving the preview home will drop you off outside the crypts and re-entering them will reset the containers. You may have progressed too far in the quest, which can make it such that the instance does not reset, so be sure not to do that. You can reset your quest if this is what happened.

@@Arttea I only started the quest near wayshrine, i tried a few times now it seems as if it is on a cool down, changing to house preview or zone or relog etc still all were empty even resetting the started quest, but i think its working after house preview then disband quest then house view again then go back in

@@honorabilis1 Hmm that is odd, as that is not happening to me! If you follow the steps directly outlined in the video, it should work fine! A few others mentioned walking too far into the crypts (which progressed the quest) and that caused issues. I haven't done this, so I haven't had any problems resetting. I wonder what is happening on your end to cause you these issues.

They are still worth a fair amount, especially purple plans, but not nearly as much as they are at launch. And farming for furnishing plans is always a decent means to make gold if you don't mind the fact that it can be a bit mind-numbing and the fact that it's reliant on RNG. Two significant factors that influence the value of furnishing plans once they first come out are: 1) How quickly TTC adds the new listing data to their search function. The sooner this happens, the faster prices drop. When new items are not added to TTC yet, it is more difficult to compare prices and undercut, which keeps prices high. Sometimes TTC will add new items right away, causing their prices to drop significantly. But sometimes it takes a week or two for items to be added, which preserves their high prices. 2) Whenever ESO adds the zone furnishing plans to a zone-specific furnishing folio that can be purchased for writ vouchers from the master writ merchant. WHen this happens, prices for those furnishing plans plummet, as people would rather gamble with their easily-earned writ vouchers than spend a while looting urns for plans. This usually tends to happen around two months after new zone plans are added to the game, give or take. The patch notes update us to give us ample warning. Hope this helps!

Did you accidentally progress too far in the quest associated with the place? I haven’t had a chance to revisit the place myself today to see about any nerfs, but I know that some guildies ran into issues resetting containers when they progressed through the quest in there. Resetting the quest and ensuring that they did not proceed any further in it resolved the issue for them and they were able to loot everything as per usual. If you try this and still run into issues, I’d recommend the Necrom catacombs for some more farming, as those are also lined with urns, albeit not as many as the sailenmora crypts, and you do need to steal from containers rather than searching, which can be a bit of a hassle.

Alrighty I just double-checked and all of the urns were still lootable, as per usual. I even got a blue and purple furnishing plan in the first minute! I think what you might be experiencing is related to what I mentioned in my previous message and the video, about the quest progression making it such that the containers do not repopulate themselves.

It must have been bugged for me. I noticed that the NPC wasn't there when I was going around. I just logged in with that toon again and it was back to normal. So if someone logs in and the NPC isn't there then the containers might not have items. I didn't have to do anything with resetting. Just a glitch. Thanks for the quick reply and confirmation. Worked like a charm this time.

I spent 5 hours farming and got 3 green furn rec, 1 blue and 1 purple. After only 15h from the release, these have dropped from mlns to couple hundreds thousands at most. I have never been disappointed more in my farming lol or maybe I exoected more gold per hour of playing than this xD

Ah sorry to hear it - my guildies are still able to sell some of the purps for several million each But I did see that TTC has been very quick to update its database and include the new furnishing plans, which will likely play a significant role in lowering the prices, now that buyers can peruse the site for the cheapest deals.
