Yes ! I love to spray them down with alcohol, let it sit awhile and then hose them off if they have mealybugs. The alcohol loosens the mealybugs eggs up so they wash right off . Alcohol is the bomb . 😊

They are annoying but honestly if you have tons of plants you’re going to get them every now and then. I think it’s mostly inevitable. As long as you keep an eye on your stuff and catch them then you really don’t have to worry. I’ve never had a plant die from them because they have to take over and be left untreated for a long time. The only annoying thing is that the alcohol will kill them but not the eggs in the soil so you have to spray them regularly for several weeks so that you get the other ones that hatch. But I don’t panic now when I see them.

When the succulents have a blooming is good to let them o to cut, thanks for the information
@SweetSweetSucculents2 ай бұрын
@@clarawillis2437 you can do either one, but I like to cut them off because it makes the plant continue to grow and focus on new growth instead of focusing on the bloom. Also blooms tend to attract pests. But it is perfectly fine to let them bloom and sometimes I do.

I use the Systemic Granules because you recommended it. Love it. All of my plants I keep inside.

Well you’re even safer than us outside people but you can get mealies inside apparently. No clue how but excellent! They are so nice

Do you still have to wipe them after you spray them?
@SweetSweetSucculents7 ай бұрын
@@alexandrazambrano9453 I have never wiped a plant after spraying it with anything. Whatever you’re spraying on the plant needs to stay on the plant in order to work
