I'm using Kali Linux right now. and I would love to know more about Ethical Hacking and Get a Cerifcation so I can apply for a Job. I don't want to go to college and community college can cost over 8K dollars so I want a Cheap Certification for under 500 dollars.

I get you. The closest you’ll get to $500 that is remotely worth anything is Security+, unless you have 5 years in an IT / Security role, in which case go for the CISSP. For ethical hacking, OSCP is the gold standard and holds high job security, but is $1600 at a minimum and not for beginners. I’ll be making a video on this to provide more clarification, hopefully this helps you somewhat.

@@lukedexter_ CompTIA Security+ Purchase Options $404 Dollars I guess I could pay for that. Plus there are lots of amazing hackers and they never got certified but if I want a job I need a certification so I'll consider getting more money or getting a daily job so I can pay for better certifications. Do these prices seem reasonable? "$1600 at a minimum and not for beginners." dear gosh. The cost of the OffSec Certified Professional (OSCP) certification depends on the type of subscription you choose: PEN-200 Individual Course: $1,499 for 90 days of lab access and one exam attempt Learn One: $2,599 per year for one year of lab access and two exam attempts Learn Unlimited: $5,799 per year for unlimited access to the OffSec Learning Library and unlimited exam attempts Course & Cert Exam Bundle: $1,649 for 90 days of access to a single course, the associated labs, and one exam attempt Fundamentals: $799 per year for access to fundamental content for one year OffSec also offers financing through Climb Credit. If you fail the exam, you can try again for an additional $150 per new attempt. To obtain the OSCP certification, you must enroll in the Penetration Testing with Kali Linux (PWK) course through Offensive Security.
