Korg, please don't give up on the Volca series! You have so very many loyal artists using these fabulous devices. There's an FM2 and a Sample2, PLEASE give us more 2's! Please leave the same form factor as well! We aren't asking for much, just newer versions with today's tech. Or if you have run out of ideas, here's a few. New Volca (performance) mix would be easiest, Volca speaker/bluetooth doesn't exist but it should (just a flat, volca shaped speaker with same form factor). Volca effects "pedal" (delays, reverbs, etc.) Volca sequencer/midi controller (sq-1/sq-64, Hapax, Deluge, etc.) Volca midi hub (Retrokits RK006). I could go on with other ideas but you get the point. You can cram so much tech in this space. Look what you can do with a simple NTS-1 and custom oscillators. Being able to load a Volca the same way would be great. Being able to use an ANDROID PHONE to manipulate your Volcas is imperative! This is the flaw with the Sample2. Thank you for your time. 🎼🎶🖤

Seriously, you could give us a simple Volca shaped rechargeable battery that spits out 9vdc and we will buy it. We aren't asking for a Digitakt crammed into a Volca, though you probably could come very close. Pattern generators, time division, chords, song mode, sampling ability, midi in/out/through... These are all easy things.

Theses are some great ideas mate. Hopefully Korg listens and make it happen.

I like the opsix but I'm also a fan of a small form factor. I love finding gear where I could write a whole set and fit the gear into a backpack, small case, jump on the train and play a show@@christdolphin69

@@christdolphin69 Volca FM2 = £155, Opsix = £684 I have the FM2 and it's excellent. I also have two FM plugins that allow me to deep dive into the world of FM sound creation so for less than a third of the cost of the Opsix I get a much better (in every single way) solution.

Korg need too do more volcas it seems they stopped making them once the lead designer left. It'd be cool too have a korg nts1 beefed up and put In a volca case,or a poly six,M1,wavestation..etc. There's so much legacy hardware you could take and put in a volca case.

Same thing happened with Roland leaving the Boutique series to die with so many Roland Classic synths left behind. On the Volcas it would be amazing to see a mini Polysix or the monopoly or the M1 (today I think it's not so expensive to shrink and M1 into a volca size synth like Roland did with the D-50 into the D-05)

@@MaximilianoSchneiderIf they make a PolySix and MonoPoly Volca, instant buys.

I'd love an nts-1 I wouldn't be afraid to take out of the house. Even just for the effects

Korg really do know how to do FM. And bliss: No clichéd, cheesy DX7 EPianos!! 👍

What brand cable is that? I've seen them in several Volca vids. Love their look. Pass along the brand or a link please

I followed these instructions up to the point of pressing play and record and, for some reason, I'm not getting any metronome. I am getting sound from the unit but the metronome does not start when I press play and record. Any ideas why?
@thething86Ай бұрын
The same is happening to me…I didn’t find a solution yet.
@ciarancosgraveАй бұрын
@thething86 I did. Make sure the unit is powered off. Press and hold the power on/off button and the function button at the same time. The word "global" will come up on the display. Then press the 9 key and it should show "metronome on". If it shows that it is off, then press 9 key again. Once it shows "metronome on" then begin recording. The metronome should sound then.
