Short answer, no! Haha we do have an obscene ammount of lore and thousands of years of worldbuilding written (lots of sci fi shit lol) but nothing in a releaseable form just yet. But we can try to give you an extremely truncated version here. So this is a continuation of the story from our ep St. Adalia and the Birth of Cerberus. That ep is basically about a revolution overthrowing a tyrannical government and establishing a triumvirate. However a member of the triumvirate is not who he seems thus leads us into the full album story. Main characters are Max Heiliger (our main character for this album) the Cerberus Triumvirate consisting of Abira (voice of the people revolutionary) Arthur Archard (defacto military leader) and Allen Dretch (elder statesmen/money) Track 1: A flashback to the early days of the war from the previous ep. Max Heiliger serves on a warship and survives a near death experience while watching his friend sacrifice himself to save max. Track 2 War is hell and the effects are very much taking their toll on Max. At this point he is a well known war hero but is beginning to fully lose himself from the trauma and self medication. Track 3 Max's Suiciide note. He can't do it anymore and wants a way out. It is a failed attempt however. Track 4 Allen Dretch wants full control of the triumvirate and the people and Max will be his tool to do so. At Max's lowest point Allen offers his help and guidance, in a very faustian bargain situation max agrees but has some "unintended side effects" if you will. Track 5 Max has just about fully lost it. Dretch has been manipulating him and giving him the nudge he needs to fully lose whats left of his mind. Track 6 Max realizes that Dretch is not at all what he seems and tries to fight back from this what is essentially a demonic possession. Max does not succeed and dretch is set to lay his trap for Abira. Max is more or less being used as a Manchurian candidate kind of thing. Track 7 Being a well known war hero, max is almost as beloved by the people as Abria is. They run in similar circles and with Dretch propping max up, he is able to get close to Abira. Dretch believes that a violent betrayal between two of the most beloved revolutionaries will create enough turmoil to capture the goodwill for himself. Track 8 Max is able to lure Abira alone at Arthur Archard's manner inorder to further implicate the other member of Cerbeus. Max kills Abira and is caught in the act. He runs and is able to hide for the time being while an angry mob grows trying to find him. Track 9 Max is alone with his thoughts after the murder and fully takes in the weight of what he's done and what he has become. Dretch further reveals that he only nudged max and never had full control. Everything that max did, he truly wanted to do, he just needed an excuse to himself. Track 10 Dretch needs no loose ends and abandons Max to be ripped apart by the mob. As he dies he tries to attone his spirit, but is he honestly sorry or is he just sorry he got caught. The end. Cerberus is dead and only Dretch remains. The revolution effectively traded one dictator for a much worse one. The only surviving member of Cerberus exiles himself and we set the stage for the next ep release. I hope any of that made any sense haha. Like I said that is an extremely condensed sparknotes version of the story, but I hope that helps give you an idea of what's happening in the songs!

That's awesome man, thanks for taking the time to give me the overview. Are you guys planning to write and release a book/film/graphic novel (only took a song or two to see that you guys are big Coheed fans haha) at some point? Sounds like you've got a pretty cool world that is like to dive a bit deeper in to.

For sure! We don't get to talk about that side of things often so when we get a chance we jump at it haha. And yeah we would love to do something for it, most likely a comic/graphic novel at some point. Biggest issue is funding, but it is very much in mind.

Gotcha gotcha, ain't nothing cheap these days ha. Well, if you ever need a proof reader or general fan input on it I'd be more than happy to get my hands on a rough draft. I don't know too much about it but crowd funding has been known to make some pretty cool stuff happen that wouldn't otherwise have made it out.

Oh we will absolutely take you up on that when the time comes haha. Next year we are planning on hitting the road and releasing 2 more eps (if all goes as planned) so hopefully we can make some real progress on that coming to life.
