My immediate thought upon hearing the task was that if you never have the duck enter the course, it can’t leave it, and therefore it doesn’t have to return. Just move the duck a few meters to the left or right, then roll it along the side.

Exactly. The duck only needs to re-enter the course if it leaves it. If it doesn't enter the course, it'll never leave the course. So, just drag or kick it along to the lake outside of the course entirely.

Nah, usually those low, stationary angles (like from below a flamingo) they just use things like GoPros I think. Nowadays their quality is decent enough.

Deflate the duck! That was my initial idea ... but Susan's dragging method was clearly superior. As OG fans will remember, Mel had to deflate a beach ball, and deflation takes longer than one might think (even if you don't fully deflate the item).

The rules say that if the duck leaves the course, it must re-enter at the point it left. My first thought was that the duck can't leave the course if it never enters, so I would've just dragged the duck down to the lake missing the course entirely. Get it done in about 30 seconds.

Probably the awkward size and shape. Picking it up and holding onto it/keeping it balanced might've been a problem, especially without touching the beak or accidentally dropping it out of bounds. I would've probably just dragged it to the end 😅

I thought this, so I looked it up. Turns out there's no difference. There's no consensus as to which term is "correct" in which circumstances, at least not in ornithological circles, and both terms are synonymous with each other. Therefore they're perfectly correct in calling it a beak, and I've learned my essentially useless fact for the day 😂

I first thought about popping the duck, but then I thought that might take too long to deflate. But then, the rules never said the whole thing had to make it to the lake, so really, all you need to do is tear off a part and throw it into the water. Though hearing that just pushing the duck only took three minutes, I'm not jure tearing a piece off could be done faster (potentially struggling with finding a seam to tear it at).

Regarding the law, it didn't change the rule, she executed to the letter of the rule. And by law what it's not illegal, it is legal. That's how the real laws work as well, and that's how you find legal loopholes. That's exactly what lawfirms do.
