I fully agree with what you’re saying about the public chat during forestry in general. There is nothing wrong with asking a question in general, but during forestry it’s just laziness asking such general things in chat. Counting on you to fix up Mudkip soon before TOA will really make him a Wild Mudkip 🙏😂

I hate the mentality of "JuSt GoOgLe iT," not even just in this scenario... that is what a community is for, to help spread information. Oh I am sorry that someone wanted to talk with people to get information that might not be that easily available thanks to the internet flooded with a bunch of other misinformation. Hell, maybe they don't use the wiki and are unaware of how good it is, tell them. Don't just shame them for wanting to interact with the community.

I understand that but asking a factual question that would take 5 seconds to google in the public chat seems a bit silly. the osrs wiki is really good with having the correct info up to date and 99% of the time when someone chats in a highly populated area it just ends up being super political or the convo gets weird so it's weird to me to expect an actual conversation with 100 players lol. I don't think these ppl asking the rates on egg/whistle are asking publicly because they want to make meaningful connections. and you can't expect the person responding to know better than the wiki or reddit or forums (which ARE the community too btw!) asking something like which boss you should do first I would think is a better question to ask a group of people and even then I would rather ask in a discord server or smaller public group rather than an area where I'm likely to get trolled and mocked. I wasn't trying to shame anyone but said because I spend a lot of time there I see the same exact questions a lot and it gets annoying to me because no one has any actual conversation, it's all just either the same few questions being asked and people giving answers and then moving on, or people arguing about random crap and having a contest to see who can say the edgiest stuff lol. I'm aware it's a me problem because these people probably only spend a couple hours woodcutting and don't see the 50 other people asking for the rates. it's not a personal attack on anyone, I was just complaining about a thing that happens a lot. I hope that makes sense and clears things up. :)

@@Spookdog for someone creating content, you have a horrible attitude and view point on this. Grow up and interact with your viewers. As the original comment said, teach ppl or inform them on how they can get the info they’re looking for. There have been plenty of instances where i’ve seen something in a video, googled for an answer and was left with pointless reddit links and pages that are either not connected to what I searched or is just full of useless and redundant information. I would be embarrassed as a content creator and having that response to simple questions.
