An interesting fact I recently learned is that the brand was initially created by a Black British hairdresser named Michael Boadi, who is well known in the fashion industry among high fashion houses like Chanel and others. Apparently, he sold his company at some point but he also started another brand in 2011 called Illuminum.

Finally some Boadicea! My favorites of the brand are: fire sapphire, chariot, Hyde park, blue sapphire, notorious, victory to name a few, my favorite brand by far but ridiculously expensive.

I waited for two (2) years to purchase Bodacious and it was worth the wait!! I wish I'd pulled the trigger and purchased this when I first heard of it. I would have never purchased TF Lost Cherry, Bodacious blows it out of the park.

Finally! Boadicea is awesome house. You should try Valliant, that one is by far the best one i tried from Boadicea. Ardent, Blue Sapphire, Valliant, Green Sapphire, Lavish... Knowing Sebastian loves vetiver - Lavish will blow you away for sure. My favorites are Blue Sapphire, Valliant and Lavish.

I received Ardent as a sample with something and really enjoyed it and was surprised when I found it had rose, as I tend to shy away from rose. Also really like Bodacious. Will like to get Harmonious for my hub so I can experience "lipstick".

I haven't been too impressed with Boadicea besides Faith, that one is incredible. Al Qurashi Blend blows Blue Sapphire out of the water imo and with Ardent although good it reminds me so much of Tuxedo, with rose. Bodacious isn't bad. Still looking to try some others

Al Qurashi Blend is awesome. One of the best "oud" scents I tried, and actually one of the best scents I have tried! Works great all year around and the notes make it original enough from your basic oud scents that market is saturated with. Not blind buy worthy, but I would recommend to try it!

I've only sampled about a dozen of Boadicea fragrances because they have just too many and also they are quite expensive ( except the ones that cost around 250 EUR, the others cost too much ). From your list, I've smelled the first 3 and Ardent was my favorite eventhough I am not a big rose fan. I've also liked Iceni and Amethyst, but if I had to get started I'd probably go with Ardent. Excellent balanced review! I agree that this is a tough house to crack. If you find out about them late, as I did, it is highly overwhelming. So far, I have Energizer, Green Sapphire, 1907, Nemer, Bodacious (which is a divine cherry). I am taking a break on them for now. I like the animal series, however, time to save a bit. BtV is one of those houses that, for me, has some hits but many misses... and those misses fall into fragrances that I just don't like the smell of, and those where the ingredients simply don't justify the very high price. I have Ardent and Imperial, which are lovely, and at some point I'd like to add Bodacious. Energizer sounds interesting, thanks for featuring it.

What are your thoughts on Complex? I was so keen to try it, but when I finally did, I sprayed one spray on my arm in Selfridges and I'm not exaggerating to say it's the worst thing I've ever smelled. Passers by commented on how bad it smelled!

Hanuman, Boadacious, Alma and Ardent are some of my favorites! While many of them are overpriced, they are always smooth and well blended. Never any sharp edges with BTV.

Finally! I have Faith, Blue Sapphire, and 1907. Blue Sapphire is up there with Followed for potency. But others I like are Harmonious, Aqua Sapphire, Green Sapphire, Vetiver Imperial, and Dasman to name a few.
