A Malamute does pull a sled so by measurable standard he is a Husky for that reason.

Nothing against Dubs, I think he’s so handsome. However, as a Siberian Husky owner, it bothers me that he is a Malamute (a cousin of the Husky) and not an actual Husky. If he was an Alaskan Husky, I’d be much more onboard. #makeDubs3aHusky

​@@stuvo1977maybe only live animal mascot. There's not a lot of animal mascots in the BIG and the others aren't ones u really want to be hanging out around. The rest are people mascots or like Ohio State a tree or a person from Ohio. I doubt we'll see a lion, wolverine, or wildcat roaming a field
