14:54 "not a long term planner but appreciating the moment" As a person binge watching your videos right now, I found that you already have said similar things on your very first video. You said after knowing that someone you know passed away at his young age helped you to overcome the fear and realize that you want to do something that makes you happy at the moment. And that you don't want to be at the last day of your life working at a job that you don't enjoy or not as happy as you could. It's really inspiring. After the pandemic, i think we have all realized that we have been forgetting how small things can make us happy and how important to appreciate the moment. thank you so much for all your videos 😍

Your videos have been so helpful! I just moved to South Korea myself (like a week ago 😅) How did you make friends your first year? I don’t know a single person here and I didn’t know if you had the same worries when you first came. Again, love your channel and thanks so much for all your content 🤗

I'm so glad! 😊 As far as making friends, I made most of mine during my EPIK orientation (much easier pre-pandemic). I also made some when I joined the dance team in Daegu and when I started playing tennis. I think finding a hobby in general that you really enjoy doing here is a great way to meet new people. Also, joining some Expat groups on Facebook is also another great way. I see posts all the time in groups such as "Expat Women in Korea" asking if people want to meet up (especially those new to the country or a specific city). Don't be afraid to put yourself out there!
