My landcruiser is having a bit of a birthday, in this episode! Not only do I give it a much needed service, I also organise all of the camping gear I store in the dog cage as it was a bit of a mess back there 😅
However the main purpose of this video is for you to get to know me, as I haven’t yet introduced myself properly 👋🏼😁

I know people that had their 12 v battery system stolen because they done a utube vid on how good it was. They went to tassie. After they left, they were having problems with the 12 v system and investigated .only to find out someone stole their gear and replaced it with crap gear. New sub. Oi 😂

Hi Jas, loved the video. One thing but, those butane cans are fck'in dangerous. If they rub on the edges of those metal pans or glass bottles in that crate it will be FUBAR bigtime, and the travelling you do on 3rd class & dirt roads it's just a matter of time. It's not just one that blows, it's both - the first will blow like a bomb rupturing the second sending liquid butane through the vehicle like an incendiary bomb. Wrap them up up tea towels which you are likely to use anyway when you're using the butane cooker, & tie the tea towels on with bootlaces the size to fit you own boots. The laces can also be used as a tourniquet if you're having a really shit accident prone day. Take care R.

You can get these little neoprene (wetsuit) material covers for your fishing reels to protect them from uv,rain,bugs etc. Bcf or any good fishing store will have them. Love your work. Cheers 👍🐕🤠

Love your work and awsome organised cruiser! Little tip with the oil pan, you need to remove the yellow plug to allow the air out as it's getting filled with oil, otherwise it will spit oil all over you 😅 hope that helps with your next service.

For your rod holder on top get 2 small straps or bungee's to wrap all the rods together. That way if one pops loose the others will secure it. By the way New Subscriber from Chicago🇺🇸😀

all looks good really, the only thing I am sus about is rods on top. I think it allows your reels line and reels to be open to the elements. If I was traveling down the beach I kind of wouldn't like that, also if I was traveling a distance Id kind of like them to be protected. good to see a young lady on the tools , what was all that water in your air filter housing ? also the clear tubs you used for tools are they strong enough , i had something like that for storage but they were brittle and cracked very easy so i went with the snatch soft plastic ones

Nice video,, Here's a good idea, buy a 12 volt car oven like a travel buddy or some other brand set it up in the dog box, you will thank me for the idea when you stick a pie or suasage roll even a lasagne in it, few hours of driving and a hot meal or snack when you stop with no fuss setting up a stove to cook, great for when ur on the tracks all day or you know your getting to camp late. cheers

Great work tidying up the Cruiser. One thing to note, the rod holders will give way soon as they aren't meant for sunlight and the vibrations will cause the rods to pop out. You can get lockable ones so they can't be stolen from the roof too.

Does the hood hit the snorkel if the hood prop is not bent? The diff fluid was real clean, could go a lot longer. Front diff? Pop that little yellow vent on your drain pan, it won't burp all over the place. Thanks for just hanging out, it was fun.

Ha Ha my last oil change on my Ram went just like yours. I have the same type of oil drain pan that burps up oil and gets all over the place. Time to get an open pan. Awesome seeing women getting into trades. Great wages. Rod holders on roof like that can be costly due to branches and coming loose. Maybe try a hanging PVC tubes under the rack that could pass through into the top part of the dog cage. With a slot at the rear for the reel base. Some bunges to keep them in place. Just a thought . great video, whats with the water under your air filter.. ? Externally mounting fishing rods is a great idea but I've found leaving the reels on the screws hold the handle onto your reel can come loose and you end up with a reel with no handle.... I store my reels separately now

I wouldn’t trust those fishing rod holders going down the road without extra security straps. They are just friction fit foam intended for indoor storage. Use some sort of straps or tie down over the top so they don’t slip out of the foam while driving.
