NCT is perfect for taeil bcoz he always says this line " he pursue music"he choose university over SM but he listens to his professor to accept SM offer. Its a shame yes that he rarely gets opportunity to sing solo.but at least in NCT he sings in different genre. Explore all kinds of music until he can find the one he loves to do. Meets people behind the scenes who really live for music everyday of their lives. And u just want to admire taeil for his conviction to learn bcoz all he wants to do is learn music but as an idol he also learns and excel in performance dance and other stuff idol does. He is one remarkable person who knows what he wants and go chase it! As he said "no regrets never"

you got me crying :") I love singing since elementary school, I keep singing until my very last High school years with my choir team. But, after what i've done in audition, which is dumb, like I was so nervous back then so I was terrible at my singing, I feel Like I want to give up my dreams to become a singer, I blamed myself a lot. I joined choir team in my college and being active there, but still ovethink about my past auditions. Suddenly I feel like "maybe singing is not my way of life" and stopped singing for several years. I wish he had chosed University over SM. We can all see how badly SM treats him and gives him barely any screen time or opportunities to shine. SM may have great vocalists but they always prioritise visuals over vocals/talent.

I don't think this is true at all. SM always prioritizes vocals. BUT on the other hand he debuted in a group with a lot of members. Even Taeyong who is visually the best looking gets underappreciated in S. Korea. I wish he did get more centertime though, his voice is god tier and he has a great personality (he is also super cute). Ultimately, I think he made the right decision. SM gave him more opportunities than that university ever could.
