The problem is when they did it not that they did it. It doesn't help attract free agents because agents talk to other agents and when they see how the giants handled it plus how they handled they best players in barkely and Xavier letting them walk its hard to want to expect players to want to come to NY because of how things are run. You loose the lockeroom also in who you pick to replace him if you go with lock then maybe they play a little harder but the team has mailed it in now
