I drive tractor trailer in real life. I bought this yesterday. Im enjoying it. I think i might enjoy it on the ps5 more than in reality. A shame i seem to be the only 18wheeler on the roads though. Would belovely in real life lol. Need weigh stations,adjustable trailer tandems and more cargo space! Liked and subbed!

hey guys,i learned how to max mechanical points quickly, drive to a garage, purchase tool kits and coolant,drive your truck into the garage 4 times and the engine will die along with radiator, then fix the engine for 300xp fix radiator for 125xp then fill the coolant for 500xp 925xp each time just rinse and repeat it will take around an hour to max it out

hey truckers in case you didn't know, at the shops just before the ice roads(icicle point) you can purchase thermal jacket which allows you to stay outside in winter as long as you like💪 happy trucking 🚚

The fastest way to gain driving XP (and getting your "50 job" achievement) is to shuttle the blue freight trailers to and from the airport. The jobs are generally 50-150 miles each and if you get lucky then it's more than possible to find yourself picking up another trailer at (or close to) your drop off point. I found summer to be the most rewarding but don't sleep at all because that seems to upset the cycle. tbh, most gamers have already fathomed out you don't need to sleep but I just thought i'd just mention it anyway. Note: You get the job XP regardless so don't worry too much about damage or not being able to deliver in the designated time Note: Fully upgrading driving XP is still a very,very long-winded process so don't expect an instant D (or better) licence from doing the above.

Formerly "[U.S._Combat-Vet]" Decided to split my interests into business and pleasure accounts. Much easier to find your awesome videos. For XP, I also has the same idea to farm by cooking food. I did learn, you can make a meal in the oven [DON'T CONSUME IT] and make a microwaved meal in the truck back-to-back and get XP for both. Those roadblocks and taking those pics at the Points of Interest help a ton too! Shorter runs are definitely better for trucking XP growth. Although this doesn't add XP it is a helpful tidbit since we have to do it to end the run, and that is the parking spot. Of course we all know park in yellow and drop the trailer. The narrow ones give a little cash bonus. You may or may not have noticed the bonus [5 stars] sometimes pays $250 or $600. If you look at the job screen, the parking row will say a combination of 'free, .' Free gets you $0 bonus. Front gets $250. Rear gets that $600. Not all jobs have all 3 options available. To discern which of the narrow slots is the rear, there are 3 ways to figure it out. 1. Drive onto it. If the accuracy stars go up if you are driving on truck first, NOT IT! 2. Positioning. 90% of the rear parking spaces will have minimal space around it, will be inside of a structure or be upto a structure (in front of a garage door or almost in contact with an obstacle). 3. Look at the space. You will notice there are 2 sections of very different lengths. The short section is where the truck should be and the long section is where the trailer should be roughly when you park. That bonus helps with those fuel costs. 😅 I saw @jasondavies2295 posted an awesome way to get mechanic XP by going to the workshop 4x in a row to degrade the vehicle parts and you can do the maintenance yourself if you unlocked the perks. Genius. For those that have not unlocked the proper maintenance perks yet, what you can't fix yourself, you have to pay the workshop to fix so make sure you have $$$$ on hand. The battery (300XP), air filter (30XP) and coolant (varies) can be worked on regularly. If you leave your wipers on all the time [that sound is annoying 😵‍💫] they can be replaced for another 125XP. Give the front corners of your truck some light bumps or just leave them brights on all the time and you can replace those headlights. More and more sound issues keep happening to me. Yesterday, I played the first 20 or so minutes in complete silence. No sounds at all. When the sound came back, everything since the start was on fast forward until it caught up.😬. Still enjoying it. Hi Lee. I'm loving the game, although I really hope they patch it soon. I am in my HQ and wish to buy a new truck, but just before I do, It crashes, and restarts me 30 miles away from my HQ. It has crashed 4 times in a row, and I guess my only answer is to leave buying my truck until the update, and just leave the HQ until they fix it. Thanks Lee for great videos. Loving the game. I have put over 30 hours in since release day. Few things that have started to bother me is the pop ins. Really bad grass pop ins in the winter. And i crashed into a avalanche that the game didnt warn me and damaged my cargo 30%. Also i delivered some damaged radio with only 7% left and didnt get the achievement. Also the AI at traffic lights crash into me cause 2/3% damage and i get a fine. Hoping the devs fix the few minor issues. Still the best trucking game on console. Just brought fernbus so going to put some hours into that over this week

@dandoyle834 All of the obstructions not being relayed are intentional. Just like reality, unless it is reported, drivers won't know about hazards until they come across it. I have actually watched a tree falling across the road as I was booking it and was able to weave through the trees to a stop. This was before I had the chainsaw unlocked so I tried the CB radio and it populated on the map. Could have been a coincidence though. I hear you on the traffic light rear endings. It's dumb when you think about how the AI will pass you if you go too slow or if you just randomly stop. I have been doing 2 different things to avoid it. Rather than coming to a stop at the light, you can drop your speed way down 10ish to watch the traffic light and time it turning green. I use this mostly for the left lane. The other method is to use your hazards and pull off to the side of the road a bit back from the light. The smart AI usually goes around like normal. There is a 3rd method but it can be hit or miss and annoying. Put the trailer sideways at lights. Getting T-boned hasn't caused me damage or fines, yet. [It seems direct collision to the front or back of the vehicle or trailer is penalized. I sideswiped a vehicle trying to pass and didn't get penalized] Drawback is vehicles will still hit the trailer or partially go under it blocking the trailers wheels. I had to lock both differentials but didn't get penalized or damaged forcing the trailer free.

cooking is XP restricted 1 type per day will give 50 XP. 2 ways to cook per day = 100Xp the issue with HQ food is you have to return each day. to HQ. The microwave in the truck is just simpler.

My main problem currently is achievements not tracking on current save files if you've played long enough. This means for example, the 100,000 miles may not trigger. Enjoying the game but want to buy a new truck and achievements tracking correctly.

@@CGDGAMES Yeah, for example, when i took out a loan on my existing save, it didn't pop but when i started a new save and took out a loan, it popped. Same with the Oven. The 5 star reverse, i've done on my existing and new save and neither popped. Arctic Circle didn't pop on existing save either.

I have 60 hours in my game and I went to load up my game and my save file is just gone. 😔 I've tried deleting my save and tried to download my save again and still all my progress is gone. Has anyone else had this issue?

On PS5, does anyone else’s sound glitch out resulting in the same sound staying constant until you close app or exit game? IE - truck engine sound will glitch and the truck will I’ll sound like it’s at the same RPM even when stopped or slowing down, no noises from indicators or brake release

I saw someone with a fix where if you make a clip whilst the sound is looping it fixes it sometimes but not all the time

Indeed friend. Indeed. Mine had zero sound the 1st 20 or so minutes I was playing yesterday before it decided to play catch up in fast forward 😂. I turn down the sound fx noise and enjoy the radio when it happens. It tends to happen to me when I am hammer down for extended periods on long runs. it's when the wipers are on too that it really drives me nuts.

I love the game but like so many other people it crashes randomly especially trying to check out new trucks. My workshop is open but it want let me do any repairs such as radiator or air filter etc. I’m forced to go to the city garage to do major repairs.. it’s frustrating but I’m trying to kick on

whoa! didn't know you played that too! in my defense, I just found the channel when this game dropped. got to expand the region. pretty sure it's cross-platform. Never found all of the gold supplies. Got somewhere in the 40s. I really like that game. Haven't checked after the update. I'll be watching that video next.

Is there going to be interior customization? If i recall correctly i have seen that in a trailer. Also, if you get the 3rd customization perk, you should get acces to interior customization but that is not true, so far it's a wasted perk point.

I've managed to get round the truck buying crash somehow but still can't buy one as all 3 parking spaces are taken up with the initial truck & the 2 dlc trucks but I can't sell them or even get rid of them so I can't buy a new truck. Tbh the game is great, but the issues have gotten to a point now where I'm no longer playing until they patch/fix things, not getting warnings for obstacles until you nearly drive into them, coat no longer working, I'm freezing up the second I get out of the truck & that includes going into shops, Achievements still not popping & it keeps telling me my tires are knackered when they're perfectly fine (won't let me repair them as they don't need it) & worst of all, I had a truck at HQ which somehow lost all it's fuel, I used the emergency refuel but it didnt work, so I tried it again & again & again, after 12 attempts it finally gave me 1/4 of a tank but it was only afterwards I realised it'd charged me every time prior costing me all my money & putting me £500+ is the red, I was seriously pee'd off.. It's just becoming annoying as I feel like I can't really progress properly as so many things just aren't working or are in some way broken (not to mention the housrs of playtime to get robbed of all my cash), it's really frustrating considering how long we had to wait for it to be released on console...

Ouch. First time I have heard about the fuel situation. Guessing u r on Xbox if ur still having PC issues? I got the day it came out and had the PC vehicle store issues. It literally took a day to get the patch (PS5) after sending error reports repeatedly and a description of the action leading to the cause. I did manage to sell the starter truck, which I strongly recommend to everyone, before getting the patch. It took multiple tries just to buy a dlc truck. Even now the buying and selling is still goofy but it doesn't crash. Just wanted to make sure you have switched to a vehicle other than the one u want to sell. Even going to the sell tab, my vehicles wouldn't show so I could sell them. The trick is using the cursor on the sell tab. It still took multiple tries to get it through but once I sold the starter truck, other issues went away with it. Didn't fix the PC issues though... hopefully you can hang in there. If everyone is sending error reports and clips explaining the issue, it should get resolved. Probably Microsoft mumbo jumbo making everything take longer.
