I hope this is a free update, i have been waiting on an update of this plugin for literally years. FG X is the first plugin I ever bought. Before that I was using the free ones that came with whatever DAW I had because I was too new to know what to buy and didn't want to waste the little money I had.

I already like this so much more than the Ozone Maximizer! I really dont like the maximizer screen flow and set up -- but Im weird I know.

I'm with you! I also find that Ozone's maximizer completely destroys my dynamics... waaaay too easily. I tested this out, and it's like it maintains the transparency of the mix while making it LOUD. My new go-to

@@juggz143 the tricky part is having to add back the low and high end detail after it crushes the track. I wish it would give you a ballpark setting automatically. Or have a toggle for it to recommend a setting to really compete with ozone

The limiter section seems sounds cool but the compressor section sounds bit over compressed. I don’t know if this Producer is not use it properly or not🤔. Anyway I will try it out myself because I am the all access pass user. By the way, the other all access pass software are very good❤

I can't say anything about the sound yet, but I actually liked that the old one didn't have any fancy visualizations, really forced you to use your ears. Here's to hoping an update will let you disable it.

I'd prefer to see different modules like VMR, a clipper, with hard or soft cliping options, compressor, and limiter, with auto release, maybe vintage limiters, a lot of people uses multiple limiters, so being able to use multiple instances of limiting on the same plugin would have been useful

Exactly. Auto release! I dont get why it doesnt have more features. GUI is awesome, probably sounds great, why dont put extra controls on it? There was so much time, seems like a wasted opportunity to me. Snob mode /off

I was disappointe in this plug-in, in comparison to Ozone. I like to be able to adjust individual parameters while mxing/mastering. Like EQ, etc.

I loved "Dynamic Perception" on FG-X 1’s Level section, I use FG-X1 with FG Comp section OFF, and only for dynamic perception. and this version 2 doesn't have that knob, so little complex to approach to “auto” super dynamic. FG-X 1's "Dynamic Perception Knob" was SUPER HOT DYNAMIC MAGIC KNOB for me, but it disappear now. So sad thing,,
