I’ve this same method you doing in the past it did not seem to work for me for the eagles logo. The lines are never clean and layered right.

Mine seemed to be fine. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I even have cut the exact file on my Cricut to make a banner and it looks fabulous

I do not. You just go to their website and press download for the computer type you have: inkscape.org
