I don't think most video dems I have seen of this puppy actually do it justice. Why does everyone use too much speed and too much modultion depth, non musical warbles?? This guy does a really good job with it. Listen to some old Robin Trower and grasp how to play with the effect and not just through it. He used the Mutron stuff on a few tunes and man no one plays like Trower uses effects. It is first off it is a cool substancial size and heavy as can be which can only confirm it is not a hollow box of a few components. I have had the old Mutron stuff and this is just a better rendering, a quality robust, repeatable build. Warm Audio amazes me with the quality of these reproductions being exact as one can get and better than the originals. If you know phasers and understand the enveloping filter quality of this one, you can get some killer tones and phasing unlike any other phaser.

YES. 1st, Nice Demo- R&Beard- I don't know if I'm merely a creature of my generation (born '57), or if someone born in 2000 would think/feel similarly by the time THEY are 67... So that might help to qualify my perspective. Distilled down- SUBTLETY with my tone is "arrival". This box took me back to the original Bi-Phase. I bought it as soon as it came out and have loved it in the chain. Overall- Take your clean tone and "class it up" (haha whatever THAT means) by applying FEEDBACK 2-3 for character, DEPTH 5-6 for best subtlety control of RATE, and RATE 2-3. I've found that beautiful PERCUSSIVE lead/single note/melody (choose your own nomenclature) is dialed in JUST as in this video 1-2.5----6-7----1-2.5. For what I'd call "'90's slow...deep playing, 0---5----5.
