It could be great in a DoT based Pure Fiction, since right now enemies are one shot by Ultimates. Perhaps on Gui / Sampo during this PF, and this could change again next Pure Fiction. - Since you are facing so many more enemies than usual and they are also all low toughness, you can pair high energy units with the break set too, for tons of extra energy. Energy rope on top is gonna be insane PROVIDED your base attack will kill enemies. - this blessing is kinda op and we might see less of this strat afterwards

Day by day, I'm amazed by how HSR handles their endgame content. Not only is there an obvious focus on combat, but they give all characters a chance to shine. Some games can learn a thing or two from HSR 👀

As someone who has been playing since HI3rd, I've been doing 4 redlotus abyss, 6 memorial arenas, at least 2 runs of Elysian Realm, 1 run of Genshin abyss, 1 run of MoC, at least 4 runs of SUs every 2 weeks, I'm actually tired of Hoyoverse repetitive "endgames". For this reason alone I don't see myself adding ZZZ to my routine, I don't even have time to playing fighting games, Monster Hunter and others because of these "endgames".

But... These aren't endgame content. They're just fillers to keep you sated in between patches. How can you put an "endgame" to a game that hasn't even "ended" yet? Endgame is what the game's version of "what happens next after the journey" is supposed to be, the you after defeating the greatest evil. A playable epilogue if shortened to a term. HI3's story going.into HI3 part 2 is endgame as it passes the story of Kiana and the herrschers of earth to the next team in Mars genshin doesn't have one yet as it just passed halfway into its story Especially HSR who pretty much just started its trailblazing story.

@@indiomie Yea I agree, which is why I also used quotation marks for "endgames". There's a weird obsession for "endgames" nowadays, when it's basically filler to waste time and prop up a game's play time. This is also why I actually respect Genshin having just Abyss, because it doesn't want to waste your time, just 15 min dailies is all you need outside of actual story and event content. This is also why FF14 is so respected as an MMO, it doesn't force players to do such repetitive "endgames" and producer Yoshi-p even encourages players to go play other games between FF14 patches.

this mode constantly let you deal with 4-5 fire weakness enemies so you can trigger himeko follow up attack and create another follow up attack, while have enough energy to perform ultimate to create another followup attack. It's like Himeko main wetdream.

So most of the best units for this mode are ones I don't have . Fantastic. At least my Blade and Clara can do a bit of damage, but I haven't been able to break past one star on the third stage. Jingliu just takes too long to get rolling in this mode, and she's normally my best unit. Maybe my Seele will do fine, but I struggled with this one

Jing Yuan himself felt strong in this mode with his skill and ult (can pretty much kill all small mobs), but LL moving once per cycle kinda hurts, and we only have 4 cycles in this mode. If only LL strikes immediately when he reaches 10 stacks... Kinda of a hot take, but I feel like MoC is still the best mode for JY. At least in MoC the cycle resets when you enter a new wave, and LL have high ST damage too. I tried him in PF4 2nd half and he only got 27k. I think I might try Himeko's LC on him since right now I'm using breakfast LC and see where that goes

I was on the fence about building Herta. When Pure Fiction leaked some time ago, I figured she'd age well into it and decided to build her. She's since become my favorite character, and the gamemode hasn't even been released yet. ^^

@@davestew5135 Crowd Control, it's the thing where you can't use your ultimate and your turn gets delayed. It also stops your talent from triggering so like Clara and Herta can't use their follow up attacks etc etc.

I've loved Herta since the beginning, built her super early game (lvl 80, e6, nearly all max traces) and she absolutely CRUSHED peak fiction. Imo this event really showcases the value of units that are able to do lots of action within a single cycle, because of her FUA talent she's able to come back to the field so many times. I'm excited to bring Ratio to this event when he is released.

Built both Himeko and Herta since day 1. Always thought they were so fun to play together especially when farming XP mats. I didn't really care that they weren't meta especially Himeko (I love her. Im an HI3 player so you can probably figure out why). Seeing both of them thrive in the new end game content makes me feel like they were worth my investment after all. Seeing them hit 6-digit damage follow-up attacks (with the help of Ruan Mei) is so satisfying. I also tried clearing the max level deer boss in SU with Himeko, Herta, Fu Xuan, and Ruan Mei. The deer boss got absolutely curb-stomped that I basically skipped the first phase. My Herta isn't even max ascension yet. 💀

So far from my testing in Pure fiction it seems like with Ruan Mei on your team in the current version you can wipe entire rounds with just weakness break. I literally ran March 7th and Pela with Ruan mei to just Ice Break everything between the follow-up attacks and Ults it cleared up pretty fast. Pela was level 60 with no leveled relics just a lightcone her job was literally only to use burst to break enemies

Thanks for letting us know in advance about the weaknesses on either side! I think a lot of people who dominate MoC are going be performing less well here since a lot of us have avoided pulling and building erudition units. I built my Himeko mostly for waifu reasons, and Serval was one of my first ever DPSs, and her build holds up even today. I have both Herta and QQ at e6 and unbuilt however. Well anyway it will be exciting to try this new endgame mode and experiment a bit!

It might sound ridiculous, but seele is amazing unit in this content as well, even with mobs without quantum weakness, without sign LC, as long as shes decently built, she can easily clear 30k points with infinite resurgence trigger by cycling your normal att, skill, and burst, you just need to put tingyun in the team and youre set

I was planning on using Serval on the other side since I have used her before so she at least has relics, but she's definitely underinvested still so I'm not sure it's the best idea. I want to be silly and try a no sustain so I was thinking of Welt for the first half and Ruan Mei for the second, I hope it works (I'm always looking for any opportunity to use grandpa). As a Himeko and Topaz haver they're an amazing combo together since Himeko follow-up triggers numby's chunky follow-up on the elite or boss enemy. already 36 starred pure fiction with them both carrying me in the svarog fight. I also did it with Kafka and Topaz but it was significantly more difficult due to not having the large AOE on Break

I think this Game mode is for Erudition and DoT units. Since they mostly have lower Ult costs(QQ side eye). And target all enemies in Ultimate attacks.

I can't wait to try some no-sustain teams here. Mono-ice with Jingliu + Herta + Ruan Mei + Pela is on top of my list of stupid things to try. All sorts of variants with Herta + Himeko could also be really fun. I think this mode would favor harmony supports over nihility supports like Pela or SW, since those debuffs are gone when the enemy is killed, reducing their uptime until the last wave. Still, time to build my Himeko?

Pela's a neat 'discount Herta' for Himeko, if you already have her built. It's less about the def shred even, but the aoe ice breaks work wonders! And not many harmony units can actually do 'aoe' breaks, even on hyper speed. Energy refills or speed boosts tho, for sure harmony over nihility

My mains are Daniel and Jingliu, so I had all the 4 star supports built. I just hope that my 1+1 Himeko can be put to use. But with the free Dr Ratio, who should I build first?

@@arielgauss9105 My half-built Himeko did great in this mode, it was so fun! This mode just opened and will stay available for like a month tho, and new MoC in 2 weeks will probably be curated towards Ratio and maybe Kafka - so plan accordingly. Though that one also stays for a couple weeks, the way they changed it. So, uh, I got no advice, I'm struggling with full stars on current MoC 12
