Great vid guys.. Poor Triton 😂 I reckon tyre pressure is a worthwhile first port of call as well, dropping an extra 5psi out eg 20 to 15 can sometimes make all the difference 👌 (unless you're in the 40psi club of course!!)

Thanks for the video. Good work. When using the snatch strap/kinetic rope it would helpful to explain that the bogged vehicle should be engaged in gear (preferably second gear) and should be driven in coordination with the recovery vehicle so that the bogged vehicle is being pulled and driven out of its situation. I also think 10PSI is a place to go early in the process provided swerving is avoided.

Where are the front recovery points on the front of the Triton in this video ? Or was this a “virtual “”recovery ?
@OutbackEquipment2 жыл бұрын
As specified in the video, this was a simulated recovery. As we all know Tritons don't actually get bogged 😉

@@OutbackEquipment True that, I own one !! I was hoping that you could safely fit recovery points without the need for a “bigassed” boomerbar up front !! Marty

Well, as luck would have it we will have a new recovery point system designed for the MR Triton which doesn't require a front bar and can be used with the factory front bumper. We hopefully should have this up on OutbackEquipment.com.au in the coming weeks. If a couple weeks is too long, feel free to call our customer service team on 1300 854 185, and they should be able to get you out of this stucky situation.

this is an interesting new product!! have to hope that it works on all wheels rims and the strap length is long enough , looks like it would help for the lift as well as the dig push action .
