I have found this very helpful, I am not yet ready for a great one grind, but this actually clarifies a lot of the mechanics around finding need zones, drinking in particular. So many videos basically say just go run around all the water spots and leave it at that, you actually take the time to explain, here are the times you need to search, and drop tents along the way when you find them and when it gets too far out of the time frame it is worth the money to reset the time, so thanks for detailing some of the mechanics for us newbies

Followed your advice and farmed 2 diamond whitetail the same day as finding all the drink zones. Those were my first whitetail diamond harvest of the game. Oh and tagged a sweet piebald doe as well. Thank you for the tips!

I did a revontuli WT grind and actually got a great one at 288 kills. However after maybe 700 kills the respawns just seemed to disappear and now I have very few white tails on my map. I have checked my map several times for more zones but I’m pretty sure I have every single one I have 63

You are probably missing just one zone that's hiding and it's probably full of your missing bucks. It's all I can think of. The same thing is happening to me right now. Gonna go scour my map for more zones. Good luck!

I’m switching out my level 1 need zones today moving them too zones where I can get more 2s and 3s. They’ve stayed 1s for 2 days real time. I’m getting bigger and bigger whitetail at my level 2 zones so I’m excited to see what I’m gonna get after moving all my tents to level 2/3 zones

I’m currently doing a grind on new England. I’m in the zonesearch fase atm. I have found about 70 zones. One thing I’ve noticed, i feel there is fewer bucks i’m this maps. Out of the about 70 zones i have only two zones with more than one buck. I found and shot a piebald diamond though. That is a pretty deer.

Not based on numbers. Shoot them when all of your exterior lakes are shot down

I am currently grinding WT on Revontuli. I have 62 drink zones. I have to check more or less all of them regularly because I have 2s in all of them more or less and respawns seem to take a couple of cycles. I only shoot the 2s, I leave the 3s. I have noticed I finally increased the 1s. In the beginning they were very rare. Now most zones begin to have a couple of them. I only have 5 3s though, that is a bit concerning I think. But then again, I am only 300ish 2s kills in, so I don't really expect a GO before at least another 700. Probably even a 1000. But I did get an albino and a piebald.

I’m doing a GO grind on New England Mountains, I click counted 94 drink zones, now my question is, do I need to shoot down all of those exterior zones which seems far fetched, or can I just set up on 10 -12 good zones and just grind those and hopefully spawn a GO.

I have a question I’m looking for a legendary grizzly and haven’t found all the drink zones yet. I have shot quite a few including 2 mythicals. So should I stop shooting until I find all/most of them? Also, once I do find all/most can I shoot males where there is only 1 in the zone?

If you shoot while you're finding zones, you'll have to go back and recheck every zone where you shot something for respawns. It's better to just wait. And if you kill a bear in a single zone, that zone will vanish and you'll have to look for it again. I'd only kill the ones in single zones if they're very big!

Sometimes you have to check twice. I find zones come out in stages. They aren't all there the first time you check

you know i thought about the payed DLC it might be boomerangs because he said it starts with a b and ends with a oom and if it is boomerangs then they might be hinting the next map witch might be Australia and if it is then the next grate one might be fallow deer. I love your videos but do you know how to get the 10 gauge shotgun and the 300 Canon it’s so when I got the Yukon valley map I did a lot of missions but I wonder if I have to finish all the missions if you can help thank you

The 300 comes with the Yukon Valley DLC but you do have to unlock it as a new player with enough rifle score and it is $75,000 in game but worth every penny! The 10g is the Miller Model 1891 shotgun. It comes in the Smoking Barrels Weapon Pack. My fave shotgun is the 12g Cacciatore. It's non-dlc and needs to be unlocked. It has 6 shots!

Why do we not shoot anything when searching for zones? Does it have to do with good respawns? I just got new englands map and headed down the river taking 2 males out of every zone I come across lol

You can but then you have to go and check every single zone for respawns or you could have a great one chilling at a zone you are not farming

New England is the most difficult map to do a grind on. So many zones there and all over the place. You have to spend a LOT of time looking for zones there to find them all. Good luck! usually areas need to be checked and rechecked. I find that zones come out in stages so the first time you go, they might not be there yet. (ie. you find 3 drink zones at a lake the first time you check. Next day go back and 2 more pop out and you end up with 5 - they won't all be there the first time you look)
