The man needed a cut but wouldn’t have gotten what he asked for. Can’t bill him for that man. The level of difficulty was a 12 on a 1 to 10 scale. Noway I would have done all that. You need more tutorials like this on difficult and challenging clients. Not everyone is going to come in with a full head of hair and hairline. You will get A LOT of "particular" clients like this with specific expectations and you MUST deliver for them. Nah he didn’t save it. A hair line is what it is. It can not be saved. However with all the paints, dies, pencils and whatever else these barbers use your flaws can be masked.
