I loved the Constellation, she was made hastily just to try and rescue Tyber when he was captured back in season 1, and went above and beyond its capabilities, later even defeating a Destroyer thanks to her superior maneuverability.

Seems the survivability of ships is: Fighters, since noone can aim precisely enough to hit em, the E (Which gets gutted every 10 episodes), other BB's without shielding, Cruisers, and finally Frigates and Destroyers that get destroyed in half a second.

Worst part is Mavrick was being honest, looking back at the earlier posts on the bottom left hand of the screen in the sections of the video when they show up seem to indicate he made his presence known beforehand and that he was indeed shot at first by members of 1st fleet. So, seeing the Eternity picking a fight here is a bad move on the EFN's part rather than KU's. Might have been better to leave with them back to KU space and sit in on the interrogation rather than demand they be handed over. Or the very least have a representative or two go with the KU and to observe and/or take part in the questioning and meet up with them soon after the mission was done or at a predetermined time. Now they get there and are prevented from observing the interrogation or even from checking on him in between sessions to ensure that he's being treated humanely then EFN would be more of "in the right" to be a bit hostile in their response. I'm sure even Mavrick here would agree to one of those conditions at the start, what happens after getting there is another story as that may be out of his control. But here and now, no, this is EFN's throwing their weight around and basically being called out for it. I'm with KU on this one.

Point is you need the Khans on your side and that little spat didn't really help solidify relations. But strategically and tactically speaking you need them like it or not.

I see, still the attempt was made, and people didn't even bother checking the previous messages to even verify let alone even clear that bit up and just antagonized the whole situation. That's what I'm getting at, I get that it's not official and all, but maybe should have cleared that up with them if hadn't yet. And was just pointing out alternatives that could have been made to defuse the situation reasonably could have still kept relations in better terms than how they were left.

I have started building a dreadnaught that relies on shields. And I think once finished will be double the eternity’s size. I think it’s a bit too big. The guns are insanely big and the ship makes them look small. I’ve only constructed the engine segment, and the layout is open plan, and the inside is pretty much a city, with individual building. It is modded, and it turns faster than the infinity and im not sure if it moves faster. I am currently working on it with help.

I dont know, the hostility shown to the KU seemed sudden and unnecessary. frankly the EFN failed to receive their communications and either ignored or refused to acknowledge the wider operational area, an OA that was rapidly changing and overcrowded. Frankly the captain needs to delegate more to his subordinates so he can keep a better grasp of the overall situation and doesnt go off halfcocked again (though I realize as a youtube series we enjoy seeing you play as Kirck GetBrocked and not as a poor shmuck stuck on his bridge).

@@admiralmallard7500 Im not saying the Khan's dont share some of the blame, merely that the Eternity's crew got so hyper focused on the objective it caused issues when things started changing (such as the Khan's showing up mid battle to offer assistance in a way that easily could have ended with them being shot). this cascaded into a completely unnecessary and uncalled for overreaction to the POW situation. please note I am trying to format these critics as a in universe form of review rather than a nock against you, brokked, or any of the other people that make this amazing series function. I do realize that trying to coordinate with dozens of different people over the internet tends to be a complete clusterfuck and you always end up with people failing to follow the agreed upon rules and causing issues. we viewers tend to see things that you would normally miss entirely in normal gameplay, let alone trying to be interesting for KZbin/Twitch, let alone in such a massive group and chaos. If I came off the wrong way, I apologize for my failure in communication.

It's worth noting I did notice that they said "we got shot at by first" but at the time I chalked it up as battlefield confusion because, tbf, people spam shit in chat all the time. and all the info we had indicated no 1st personal were in the AO. Jugging by the person we left on the hill (frost) it had to be PXC,CPR, or maybe PKM. KU later admitted they had no idea. Captain Brock is annoyed with the KU here because the KU are under soft leadership of both the EFN and the RR. They lost the war. And were almost dissolved, them taking POWS here was not excusable under any circumstance short of a full blown act of war from the 1st which at no point occured. Infact if you watched the next episode you'll find that Brock was mostly right with his limited info at the time KU fucked up big time and almost started a war. offscreen the KU were so convinced the 1st fleet was hostile that they sunk a 1st fleet vessel. They would later admit 100% fault, return the POW, and gave a large vessels as reparation's Once again, captain brock is okay with the KU action right up until a POW is taken as this is 100% a act of war. and puts huge pressure on the RR/EFN.

@@GetBrocked While I definitely look forward to the next few episodes and did kinda expect them to prove the dear captain at least partially right, given the limited window shown combined with my apparently false impression that the khans and the EFN had run a joint operation toward Earth and were on more ok terms. It actually came off as the captain being so tired of the constant war, having just found out his main goal was for naught, snapping at a bad time and used the stick when a carrot would have probably produced better results at that moment (if that was what you were going for, bravo). As for the Khans and 1st fleet, there is enough blame to go around at this point in the story and taking the POW was very much a major escalation that could easily boil into a war nobody should want, and having a captain that has gained a rather bad reputation of putting his nose in everything charge in to "fix" the issue at gun point likely added fuel to the fire regardless of the authority or factual correctness of said captain in the matter. Hopefully this system can learn from their damn mistakes for once (I doubt that, it would be too boring for youtube after all) and not rush to the next conflict before the dust is even settled on the first.
