A good video. They are careful to not disclose any details about the methods the check washers use. just bought Uniball pens and did a test with solvents. I drop all my mail off at the Post Office.

I also recently bought the same exact pens that you did at Target for the same price. Seems like a great deal. I have been using these pens for many years, and I had previously bought them at Staples or Office Depot for about $2 per pen. This video is 13 years old, and the woman mentions that the pens cost between $2 and $4 per pen. With inflation, you would think they might be $8 to $10 per pen now.

My credit Union accepted a fake check made to look real via mobile banking. So they accepted a photo shopped image of a check. They don't need to check wash, just need the routing and account number.

The ink you use does not matter anymore. Thieves steal your check and they use printers to make copies of your check and use that. They don't need to bother about removing the ink anymore. This video is 14 years old and outdated.
