I really love you worked hard to include even the smaller bits donated. Bot everyone has the ability to find/so easily contribute to a 'company wide' thing like this, and it's great that for those that could only give small bits that you made sure they were included so everyone feels part of it. It would be easy to discard smaller bits out of hand when you have all the larger stuff, but then for those that contributed and those small bits which could have been hard to get for them, they would feel their effort was pointless. Whereas here everyone's donation was used as much of possible.

Good move taking out those pine knots! Seems like those dang things *never* stop exuding pine tar. (40 years of experience with trying to keep that pine tar from coming through paint/varnish/shellac/urethane in all sorts of combinations.. I've just never been able to make it work.) And thanks for the tip about creating a stable edge using thick tape to correct a slight bowing of the panel. Makes sense.. never thought of that one.

Hearing gulls soothed my soul, as I miss living near the shore. Love your channel for 2 reasons (make it 3) 1. I love your projects. They are quality. You have variety of items and processes. Most designs match my style. ONE person building! 2. You are a top notch KZbinr - honest, calm, no click bait. How you explain is perfect - clear, informative, no long rambles, no fake excitement. GREAT music, used well. And you have a nice voice- I'd listen to audio books you read. And as a mom and grandmother, I find you "attractive" in that, from what yoy present, I would welcome my family inviting you home. It’s absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing about the colored dye. Especially with pine projects to jazz it up or add in some strong color it’s always been a struggle to find colors that aren’t heavy stain that bleed out the grain, etc.

Thanks! The ecolines do create blotching in some wood species, although the colors come out really bright and pretty. You just have to test them first. For example, here, I picked very clean and straight grain for the faces of the drops. I only had one knot in one of them and you can see the effect of the ink over it.
