motivation is why you do something, if you do it for the satisfaction having done something, you always will have your motivation, the thing is to be focused on your goal and don't give up at problems, as more you solve as bigger the satisfaction will be which finally rises a healthy self-esteem, after the work you will push out your breast and be proud like a silver back gorilla 😄 We have the ability to think complex and ten fingers, we are made to be creative in the meaning of creating actively, especially men need this self-esteem, because woman can already create the most important: new life.

Hi! for your next kitchen: it is worth installing a few mm thick material between the kitchen fan and the cabinet to reduce resonance. It makes the unit a lot quieter if it does not touch the wall or any part of the cabinet. I am also a hobby builder - learned it on my second kitchen cabinet.:)

Just going to drop an idea here for everyone, feel free to use it. Just go to the company that makes plywood and kindly ask for the scraps that usually lies around the shop. The best ones is about 3 - 6 mm in different sizes and forms. Then use those scraps as a back splash, don't forget to seal them with a sealant or a varnish. And BOOM!! A lovely kitchen in this beautiful Portuguese girls style. Love your videos!

Lol Quack! But hey, you could still laugh in between so still good! I love the overall look and especially the hidden fridge! To be honest, I think while you keep learning new things and trying new things, things are going to keep evolving and changing. Which means frustration when they don’t match up perfectly but you still learn something from it and come up with a different idea. And yes, I enjoyed the recording of the factory as you explained about, it was cool, artsy and showed that you did take the time to study where the product came from before speaking your thoughts about it! Great job and great video!

I love where you mentioned having a tendency to make openings that are too small and then having to enlarge them. I have the same tic. I am one of these carpenters that hates to cut trees and lumber. I built a deck on Bainbridge island near Seattle many many years ago and the client wanted clear old growth red cedar for the deck boards. When it arrived and was stacked on the framing , my partner and i just stared at it for about thirty minutes . We then looked at each other and said . “ i don’t think i can cut this stuff. it is waay to beautiful.” Eventually we did but were traumatized . 😂

Obrigado! Thank you for your wonderful videos. Random thought - that kitchen looks so beautiful; have you thought about making a plywood enclosure to hide the aluminum exhaust tube? The angle of the tubing and the way it meets the wall looks sloppy compared to the artistry of your cabinetry. I would consider making a 3-sided box to hide it, like a simplistic chimney.
