Heck yeah! Love these videos guys. Two great dudes killing it on the mtn. Yes Matt you did the right thing staying put. I been in that situation couple times years ago. It's tough but don't need two guys lost in the night. Stay put til morning and keep a fire going just like you did. Good job. Eric you sir are a machine. 46 minute video that was so good it felt more like 12 minutes, LOL!

Our favorite camp/ football snack is "stuff"-Made up by a bartender after our softball games. It consists of Ritz crackers, cheese(pepper jack), salami or pepperoni and a pepperoncini on top. If you show up without it, you're headed for the store!😎

We call them hobo bags. Take foil sheet put half stick of butter, salt pepper garlic. Sliced taters, onions, add ur choice of meat. Put another sheet of foil ontop, fold all the sides up tight. Find a nice flatish rock to put in fire pit. Cook till u think its done then cook it for 10 or 15 more. My dad tought me those. Pre make for campin trips and they work perfect.

Eric you're a beast. Over 70 pounds on your back in that thick steep country on the first day. I hurt just watching. But man what a day of picking up bone. Great video, can't wait for more. Matt you were right to stay put at camp.

We do Kronskis sausages on the fire. They originated in Rock Springs Wy. Sold recipe to a co in SLC. Still available at Boschettos in Rock Springs Wy. You can pretty much put them right in flame on a stick and they dont burn easily grease pops and they heat quickly. We prefer the thinner ones to the thick around ones. They are amazingly good smoked in real casings.

Any tips you guys recommend on finding the zones. I am searching wintering grounds have found shedded bulls but no luck except for 1 hard white. I searched from 7000- 9000. Near ponderosa pine. I check canyons and dried out creek bottoms. 2 days worth hikes about 21 miles. Should I focus on south facing sides or north? I’d like to find my first set of browns this year never have.

No limit , but yeas in some states there is a season to collect sheds, like here in nevada you can only collect them from may 1st to December 30th, and you also have to take a permit course online as well.
