I am a trial attorney, and there is a concept in law of “false in one, false in all.” Which basically says that, as far as legal technical determinations of credibility, if an attorney can show that a witness told one lie, the case can be made, if a decision is appealed, that the fact-finder (here a jury, sometimes a judge), is justified in finding that they are just not credible overall. So…the point Jaby was making that she may only have lied 10 times in 1000, but we really don’t know, and it only takes a showing of one lie to really, really hurt her case.

FYI: Camille didn’t have to straight up ask the TMZ witness if Amber Heard was the one who tipped them off or sent the video because it was implied. It was implied when she went through the motions of asking how long it takes to get a video out (with copyright) and he said the shortest is 15 minutes if they have all the info and copyright rights and longer if not. Then Camille goes on to ask how long it took to get that particular video out and he said 15 minutes so it had to have been sent by someone that owned the copyright (ie; Amber Heard).

Ya and I would imagine if her team got in contact with them and did it on her behalf it’s still her doing it, just like how she said she didn’t send the pictures to the magazine, she said something like I didn’t personally do it, how she only gave it to her team well that’s doing it herself then. Like she’s all no I didn’t do that…. Like yeah cause u had ur team do it for u. Like they wouldn’t do all that on their own and without asking or telling her they would, she would be calling the shots. If it wasn’t her personally making the calls and sending pics/videos then she had others doing it for her. She wants to look innocent and not lie committing perjury but just cause she didn’t do it personally herself doesn’t mean she wasn’t calling the shots and had her team do it, like she gave them the videos and pics for them to get it out there. Like if I had idk documents and I gave them to someone and told them to give them to someone, I gave them to them! Sorry I’m rambling and repeating myself

The TMZ witness came forward voluntarily. There was a last minute motion from TMZ to stop his testimony which was debated while the jury was out of the courtroom. Ultimately the Judge overruled the motion. However, it was made very clear that if the former employee revealed TMZ's source that he could be sued for violating his non-disclosure agreement. Camille Vasquez's questioning allowed him to testify with an inference to the source rather than naming names. I think it was made very clear that the only way the video could have been posted in 15 minutes was if it had already been identified as coming directly from Amber Heard or her legal representative. Basically he told the court that Amber Heard lied without telling the court that Amber Heard lied. It will be up to the jury to connect the dots.

Not only did kate moss say she fell she said when she fell and screamed Johnny came running to make sure she was ok, picked her up and carried her to her room and immediately sought medical attention. Now you have more facts that discredit ms. Heards testimony you can see what actually everyone else had said that he is a good guy. The part about this is that had amber never even said her name in her testimony Depps team couldn't have brought her in to testify. Because her story is everchanging for sure her lawyers knew that they could bring her in and probably told her not to say her name. She did that to herself also the point the lumber guy was also making was that during that testimony was there was a pocket knife on the bed.

And what's funny was that when confronted with this, Heard's statement was that it was a rampant rumor and she believed it for the longest time and came to her mind when JD was 'beating' her and tried to kill her sister (where their stories don't even match). IF it was a rampant rumor, JD would've been called out for that a long time ago and no one would've wanted to date him.

Additionally, there was a whole big to-do from TMZ (they sent a lawyer to interject) about stopping Morgan Tremain from testifying because he’d be violating the policy of “protecting/not identifying a source”. They were scared shitless that he’d actually say the name, but he essentially revealed the source without explicitly naming them when he said it took 15mins from receiving the video to publishing it on TMZ’s website. Additionally, Amber’s team fought to keep him from taking the stand because they should have been made aware of Tremain’s testifying during the discovery process. There were several witnesses who took the stand in Johnny’s rebuttal case that were never initially listed because they didn’t know about what was going to happen in this trial. They came forward of their own volition. Tremain did not anticipate having to take the stand, Morgan Night (Hicksville property manager) did not expect to get called in, the Seattle airport security/officer actually testified to not knowing why she *wasn’t* called to testify & was a literal last second witness. A lot of these eleventh hour witnesses that came in only came forward because they could corroborate Johnny’s side OR because they could truthfully debunk things Amber claimed or denied. And it’s all because this trial got live broadcasted and people in their circles alerted them to what was happening. It’s wild. Johnny got far more of a fair shot in this trial than what he was able to in the UK. And now we have to hope the jury can see through the muck and deliver the justice that has been needed for the past four years since that op-ed was published. He never lost work after the initial accusations, only after.

For the timber comment about it not being the same force since it's a hand and not a foot pushing: it doesn't matter at all because even a person weighing 250lbs using their boot would not be able to break the bed in the manner described. The sad truth is this, as it seems that Johnny Depp apparently did not deserve the condemnation that occurred. He still will have to do business with Warner Brothers or Walt Disney in the future as they are some of the few companies that can pay out the money that he deserves for his talent. If the Jury does side with Johnny Depp we know that Amber Heard will not be able to pay the 50 million if that is what is ordered. We also know that the amount of money he lost in this entirety can never really be recovered. Plus in order to ply is craft he would need to work for the very companies that threw him under the bus and sided with Amber Heard. That doesn't include all the actual victims of domestic violence that will have the cast of doubt over them because of this incident.

My trauma response is forgetting, and I obviously can’t speak for everyone, but personally, what Amber is depicting in her testimonies is not forgetting traumatic events. At most what she is describing is her memory getting fuzzy after he supposedly starts hitting. Most of the time I only have a vague recollection of moments that happened because my brain kind of just skips over that moment. It’s almost like my day is just shorter or that I was doing something that I remembered earlier in the day for a longer period of time than what I could recall. My brother was with me throughout most of my traumatic experiences (as we both went through it together but had different ways of coping with it) and was thankfully able to fill in the gaps for me later on in my life when I could handle it. Another way I would “forget” instances was by replacing it with another negative experience. For instance, if I was both neglected that day and yelled at, I would only remember the neglect (ie. my dad leaving us alone at home all day and only coming back around dinner time). I would take another negative instance that I didn’t consider as as bad as the other instance and replace the one I couldn’t handle. That way I could explain why I still felt awful that day but wouldn’t have to remember any parts that I couldn’t mentally or physically handle. Never once would I focus on exterior details. So I’m not saying that her version of forgetting trauma doesn’t exist, but that it is definitely not anything similar to my experience. Not to mention that my trauma response caused me to have major issues with my memory and time perception in general since it made me doubt my own memory and how I interacted with other people.

I will say (as a 20+ year therapist/Licensed Clinical Social Worker): that trauma survivors remember exceptionally detailed aspects like smells, views, moments, flashes of a visual aspects WITHOUT recalling every single detail of the hour before, during, or after. That being said, I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with either party. I do know that the jury is not seeing all of the arguments online "proving" either side's stories, which will make the decisions difficult.

I have PTSD BAD and I remember EVERY DETAIL.. and you wake up with night terrors and nightmares from the trauma or I do.. I hate that someone could make up something that clearly didn’t happen the way she describes.. so sad for Johnny her laugh in the one audio gave me chills so scary..

If she accepted a few of her blunders maybe, just maybe we could try to be neutral about this whole situation but she just loves throwing people under the bus including her own team who I'm assuming are trying their absolute best to defend an indefensible client. She's not owned up to any of her bullshit and it's annoying! She has made allegations on anyone just to favor her lies and has fabricated the truth so much. I guess Amber doesn't know that, The Truth, It Always Comes Out!
@FabiolaRVela2 жыл бұрын
Yes! That’s the most annoying thing to me!! If she accepted some of these things which are clearly lies, people would respect her so much more. Because it was clearly a toxic relationship, but she’s on a completely different level of fuckery. But it seems like she’s incapable of accepting any faults..

I truly believe she's just switching the names to when she actually abused Johnny! Think about that, it'd be easier for her to recall those times (they really happened, to Johnny, by her) . She's got a lot of abuse 'stories' that would be hard to recall her lies after all these years. So maybe?
@fukufukugolfer2 жыл бұрын
I was absolutely disgusted when she claimed that she had tons of more photos of her injuries and handed them over to her lawyers but THEY didn’t use them. Her narcissistic spinal reflex response was to throw them under the bus, when she could have easily said that the other photos were not allowed into evidence for reasons she did not know.

The witness is an EX employee of TMZ and TMZ’s lawyer fought really hard for him not to testify live in the trial, at the end the judge told them that he is willing to testify and she can’t do anything about it and to deal with it later (as in sue him if you think is best after he testifies lmao) he can’t say who it was because he didn’t make the negotiation with the source he specifically says that it’s fast to obtain the copyright if the source confirms is their video and he let us know between the lines that it was AH or her team. BTW you missed the best part in cross examination lmao

I love watching your guys' reactions and I appreciate your genuine consideration to both sides-- BUT it drives me a little bit crazy that you ask questions that have been answered IN the trial lol. no shade at all, I just was waiting for you guys to mention that TMZ came and filed an emergency motion to stop that guy from testifying, which also explains why he couldn't say outright who it had come from, and then his explanation on cross about why he's doing it-- and it never came😩

There’s 2 reasons they didn’t Cross Kate Moss and that’s because: 1) the defence is extremely low on time and they need to save it for more important witnesses. 2) it could open the door for Kate to testify the reason she’s here is because Amber has been spreading a false story that Johnny pushed her down the stairs. Which is what the defence objected to when Johnny’s lawyer said “why did you choose to testify today?” They don’t want her to explain Amber made it up, although I’m sure the Jury knows at this point.
