Hi John, you mention a lot about “scratching” the position to risk manage it when it doesńt go your way. Do you mean just closing the position and taking a hit immediately , or do you mean waiting for it to swing back towards where you got in and hopefully taking a smaller hit. Or even something else like putting an opposite position on e.g. if the short is going against you then putting a long or vice versa.

Good question, scratching is just closing it for around breakeven. It basically means a nothing trade 👍

Bullish overall but still just consolidating below that high. Think it continues to do that until next year

I think next week we will finally break parity on EURUSD. For the last 30 days large specs increased their short position on EUR by almost 70k contracts, that's huge!. I think it will start tanking below 1.0000 right after FED meeting. Gold is also signaling DXY upside by double-topping and weekly pinbar-ing. The least-shorted pairs (according to the COT report) are AUDUSD and GBPUSD, also USDCAD, so they are also good for going long on US dollar on them (as they wouldn't make much of retracement)
