Black folks have GOT to stop putting so much emphasis on skin tone…PERIOD! Take time to educate yourselves on genetics, and how (and why) skin color, hair color, eye color, etc., can be completely different from the parents. For convenient reference, there is an episode of Paternity Court here on YT where both parents were brown-skinned, with brown eyes, yet they had two little girls who looked like they could be biracial, with green eyes. The father vehemently denied that they were his, and guess what? They absolutely were! Research “Reaching Back”, and stop hurting these kids with the ignorance.
