The design flaw with this hero in OW2 is they made doom a hyper mobile tank WITH stuns. Stuns are supposed to be a comprimise. Hog can stun but he's big and slow. Rein can stun but he has no range. Dva is mobile but she CANT stun. Winston is mobile but he CANT stun. Doomfist as a mobile ranged stun tank just makes no sense. Plus after all of that he has a counter with that damage absorb ability, so that if he makes a mistake on his rollout he can just recover and then leap away again.

Whole time I play doom tank, every cool moment was lessend by this feeling that I woukd be having more fun on dps doom. Especially looking at the new maps. Normally I would run around evey square inch finding rollout spots and stall spots and stuff. Why bother now? Took away slam mechanic. Took away uppercut. Took a guy who's motto is "the best defence is a good offence" and just gave him plain old defence with power block. I dont think the change fits the character nore do I find it to be exciting or fun. As a dev said, "dooms movement may be erratic, but he will slow down for you now. He HAS to" they neutered him to appease all the non doom players. To watch quaked struggle to kill a widow. Smh.

@@christophercole1679 tank doomfist does just as much damage as dps doom it's just that the numbers dropped, you can 4 tap 200 health people and as a dps it was 3. Tank doomfist also shoots faster so that should make him funner and feel better. I get that you don't have the slam mechanics but the new slam is an even better tool for mobility, they also improved the slam audio. Doomfist looks more big and tankier in the trailer. Block is better than uppercut. The new doomfist tank playstyle is more or just as fun as rollout playstyle. Also you guys always forget these people that you can't kill are literally being pocketed. You don't blow up to stuns as much or just simply trying to slam. Now there are rocket punch mechanics (multi punch and empowered punch).
